Nah. If Sylvester was a machine, he would be programmed to work smoothly with others. Being a jerk to your co-workers is pretty much a human trait, and not one that you would build in on purpose.

Yes. F and S are low-level technicians. (As far as that goes, their jobs could easily be done by robots.) They would absolutely have procedures for dealing with a "malfunctioning" host. Basically "shut them down and call upstairs immediately." That would be part of their training and they wouldn't think twice about
