I really enjoyed Frances Ha, and I'm glad to see it on this list. What makes Frances Ha stand out so much, for me, was that it showed how mumblecore had been flailing away in mediocrity for so long. Baumbach demonstrated that the filmmaker doesn't need to be as self absorbed as the characters in the film.

It was a disappointment, definitely. I really did enjoy some parts, the native American angle and such, but then — like someone else here pointed out — it got very "crackpot convention" like.

Room 237?! That was fluff. I'm not arguing the content, or the theories, or any of that. The film itself was just an average doc. How did that get on this list? Surely you guys have some more, worthy documentaries on your top 50.

Man, I'd like to see the tapes of elevator ride between Kanye and Beck.

It's already hitting hard, the idea that Harper Lee's Mockingbird series is
soon to be done . To think, we'll never ever get to hear a new word from Scout or Atticus ever again! I'm going to mourn the fact that this story will drift off into obscurity with a pre-civil rights themed book release party. I'm going to

It's probably not even a "shameless" rip off by Smith. I could understand if he had a limited knowledge of Petty. The tricky part is that you know someone along the line, in the production of the song and in the marketing, heard the similarities, but either neglected to speak up, or decided that it didn't matter.

On the heels of Beyonce's push against Feyonce products, X frontman, John Doe, is suing amnesia victims and unidentified corpses, to prevent them from using the common name of "John Doe."

Big oops on that! Thanks Texass!

A dad saying good morning to his teenage girl can illicit a good eyeroll, too. LOL

The article writer plays up his shock at the idea of "Aiden" doesn't know what his kids are up to in their school work. He should come to my kid's school. I bet you half the parents don't even know what grade their little shits are in, let alone what school work they have.

I've never been a fan of Smith's film, and have been less of a fan of Kevin Smith himself. I'd always kinda found satisfaction in his troubles finding mainstream success, or wider pop cultural acceptance. But the thing is, I don't think anyone can say he's not become a success in his own small way.

Zaccly. It's too much work to stay on topic and make valid arguments and keep up an intelligent discussion.

Definitely saying "techno" (he repeats it at the end of the song, too). It's the subtitle of the song, as well.
