I never watched Fashion Police so you're a better judge than I.
But her criticizing even the young women all the while trying to emulate them through plastic surgeries is in itself ironic.

It was only a theory because someone mentioned vocal cord surgery didn't require general anesthesia, thus not taking a larger toll on the body or causing cardiac arrest.

Uhhh the point of my post was that Joan was adding to the "insanely competitive" and "vindictive" attitude of women and was in no way blaming the high and mighty male for her actions. So please, calm down there buddy.

While she was a trailblazer for women in comedy, she turned around and berated her fellow women entertainers on the red carpet, thus perpetuating the acidic and competitive environment women have to bear and giving into the male standards of what beauty should be—getting surgery after surgery to emulate youth, all the

Comorbidities are two or more chronic medical conditions, such as congestive heart failure, peripheral vascular disease, diabetes, etc.

Interesting. Do you think there might be a possibility that this wasn't even vocal cord surgery, and just another plastic surgery where she did undergo general anesthesia? In this case, vocal cord surgery is just getting a bad rap.

I think what odduck is trying to say, is that we shouldn't jump to conclusions and nail some doc just doing his job. She was an old woman, and possibly had tons of comorbidities complicating her surgery.

It seems she had a myocardial infarct (heart attack) during the surgery. Perfectly understandable considering her age. Despite her thin, borderline gaunt physique, we have no idea how her health was otherwise, and her heart might have just not been strong enough to sustain so many surgeries.

Hopefully there are more dates and locations yet to be announced.

You're right, I'm just as popular and twice as bad ;)

"Low IQs?" What does that have to do with indiscriminate killing?

You're right, she was talking ABOUT Palestinian children:

I dunno, I draw the line with anyone "talking sh*t" when 1000s of children are being bombed to death.

    Even Gaza?

Despite all her surgeries, she couldn't alter the ugliness that lurked inside her, as she spewed hatred to anyone that would listen.

What an ugly awful person. Ick!

With her high profile she could have used it for a lot of positive influence. Instead she was mean spirited to a lot of people and about a lot of ideas. So to her death I say, "meh."

"That month in 1995 when everybody wore dog collars"
Yes! I remember that! Oh, the 90s.

    Hodor? ;)

Hodor hodor hodor hodor? Hodor hodor hodor.
