Agreed, the character is OK, an innocent, dumb, messed-up teen who obviously inherited his mother's lack of thinking ahead ability. The actor just doesn't project that. He is wooden.

The term willing suspension of disbelief, a willingness to suspend one's critical faculties and believe the unbelievable; sacrifice of realism and logic for the sake of enjoyment. It's what this show is all about. And except for that stupid Leo paternity thing, I think this show is wildly enjoyable.

It's all unrealistic, but fun, and I love Sutherland.

You seem like a nice person. But my advice is, try to fix your own country. You have far more cause to worry from liberals than conservatives. This country was build on conservative values of individual freedom and personal liberty, which is probably why you would like to live her. I wish you well.
