WWE tends to right their faces as being only slightly less jerkish than their heels. Remember John Cena fat-shaming Vickie Guerrero, or calling Lita all kinds of vile names? Vince and co seem to not get what making a face truly "likeable and endearing" actually entails.

And Raw cannot use any woman besides Charlotte or Sasha or Bayley (and even then, they've bungled her debut somewhat). Emma, oh poor Emma. They have no idea what to do with her. Now her gimmick is essentially 'look how hot she is, isn't she oh so sexy?" Yeah because that's going to make people take her seriously

Part of it is probably because one is still relatively inexperienced (Alexa), one is a good athlete but has some problems with botching moves badly at times (Naomi), it was a last-minute match that they probably had little time to prepare for (hence the timing being off), and it didn't last long-enough for them to

Yeah they'd have to actually be creative and, gasp, build new stars instead of relying on guys in their mid to late 30's who had "indie cred" to coast on. What a horrifying prospect, not. Joe, Nakamura, and Roode, etc shouldn't be help back just because NXT doesn't want to put in a little extra effort to try and

Because these guys are in their mid to late 30's and have a decade+ of wear and tear on their bodies. If they're going to get a shot on the main roster, it needs to be sooner rather than later. There's no reason why guys like Joe, or Nakamura or Roode (who's AJ's age btw) need to wallow in NXT for years wrestling in

No Raw has more talent (hence why so many people are calling this a mismatch in Raw's favor on-paper). They just refused to properly use most of that talent. So I'm not at all confident that Asuka wouldn't suffer the same fate.

They seem to have this notion that having the people whom they're allegedly pushing as their top people, constantly lose meaningless matches (see also having their champions lose random non-title matches a lot) somehow makes things BETTER!!

Except that her "direction" is only because Becky is out. Alexa doesn't need a meaningless feud right now, and losing to not over at all Naomi, basically as a last-second improvised thing, just hurts her credibility even more going into her title.

I still have this idea of Nikki and Carmella brawling pre-match. One of them gets taken out and cannot go. But surprise, Asuka appears to join Team Smackdown (even if it's just a one-night thing for now).

She lost in like 5 minutes, on a PPV, to a last-minute replacement who wasn't over at all with the crowd. Yeah that does no favors to your #1 contender. And the fact that it happened simply because Becky couldn't go due to a medical problem makes it all the worse. And the match wasn't just short, it wasn't very good

See I have a problem with it because, Babyfaces authority figures should be fair and impartial, that's why they're babyfaces. This, was straight-up heelish behavior on DB and Shane's part. This is something that Mr. McMahon or Raw GM Eric Bischoff would have done. And yeah, I don't care for it.

They could always bring up someone like Samoa Joe, or Shinsuke Nakamura, to feud with Dolph/fill out SDL's admittedly thin mid-card. Especially since those guys deserve to be on the main roster already.

I loved him calling Mauro a "Canadian Parrot." We need more of this angry, exasperated, confused, etc JBL, he's hilarious.

I don't mind that Ellsworth won because, well yeah it clearly was the deck being stacked against AJ. It's just that it paints the supposed babyface authority figures as biased jerks with an agenda. Which, well I can see why that bothers some people, because it's not really all that different from how heel authority

I still want to meet Sister Abigail, given how much they keep hinting at her.

I thought that the Ellsworth/Ambrose/AJ stuff was really funny myself.

But Harper deserves so much better than to just get stuck being Bray's lackey, yet again.

It was just pointless. It doesn't do anything for anyone and just further buries Rusev for no good reason. Also it felt really hamfisted to boot. SDL doesn't have to resort to that with it's female division.

Vince AND Kevin Dunn. I don't see how the audience is supposed to take "bikini supermodel with a dumb name" seriously as a competitor? Which is a shame because Emma is genuinely talented, and deserves to be taken seriously as a competitor.

She's reading what the writers give her (because she ain't writing those promos herself, that's for sure). They're basically using her to shill the "Women's Revolution" and pump up Stephanie's ego more in the process, and Sasha is clearly not comfortable doing that.
