But, more specific thoughts on this episode:

It's About Time…to share all my thoughts on Girls!

Agree. Did you hear the spin-off news though, that Klaus and what's-her-face-werewolf lady would be in a show called The Originals? Maybe he'll be in that one?

Even if Fringe doesn't tie up all the loose ends in a satisfying manner, I think it's the better show. I think Lost got a little too obsessed with its mythology, and lost the reason the show was interesting between mysteries: interesting characters. Fringe has always had interesting characters, and sometimes

This song is still awesome.

That's what I was thinking. Maybe the tech they've been forming to send him away works like The Observers, where they can jump in between timelines and universes. With the tech, they can send him to the right one, before any of the takeover happens, and hopefully work his bald kid magic to save everyone?

Exactly like that giant board in Back To The Future 2, with all the timeline branches. I feel you.

Didn't they say the Observers were grown from one human specimen sample? Which is why it made sense to me that they're all basically the same person with slight variations, AKA why they're all white, bald men.

The whole thing? It's so good! Ember Island Players might be my favorite episode of television ever: way to be meta for a whole damn episode, A:TLA.

I so want to know how he picked jealousy, of all things. There is an exceptional Fringe episode hiding in that really quick info dump.

I totally agree: what has kept me coming back to Fringe isn't the sci-fi mysteries (although those are really fun) but the complex family dynamics the show explores.

Oh Elijah, making everything better. (Seriously, why has he not been in more episodes of TVD this season? Shame)

Pretty Little Liars is? Or Bunheads?

Wasn't he marvelous? I could have spent 16 more episodes just figuring out what he did once they exiled him in humanity.

I meant more that both of them and their relationship…both actors are very skilled at playing those dynamics now towards the end of the fifth season. But yeah, y'know, words and stuff.

UGHHH DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON ONCE UPON A TIME.

Okay, this might be true. But I still think it's gotten better, and yeah, most of the reason I'm watching it is because A) my little brother loves it and B) Fringe is almost done and C) it's one of precious few sci-fi/supernatural shows on TV, but I still actually watch it because it's interesting. And I don't think

I totally agree: so Fringe to have it be for such macro (world/humanity saving!) and micro (love for a son!) reasons. It's just one crucial moment in history that could be changed by the love of a world, a people, and one special boy. Fringe has been all about those one moments that change the course of the rest

@Scrawler2:disqus Even though that scene was basically a "hey, look at me reference key moments so that fans are happy!"…it worked because of the emotion those two bring to their roles. Need more representations of family like this on TV!

It's going to get so heist-y up in Fringe, I can't wait. Getting the whole gang together to rescue a boy out of Observer HQ and save the world? One epic finale.
