That tree imagery is stuff Lynch did in Eraserhead and the Grandmother so it's a personal symbol to him that he may have been planning all along. Also, Michael J. Anderson said in the last episode, "the next time you see me, it won't be me." I think the actor was mad that he was written out because he thought it was

Regarding the racial issue, people should remember that Twin Peaks is in Washington state, where according to Wikipedia, only 3.74% of people are black. I grew up in a town similar to Twin Peaks and there really were very few black people. This is the pacific North West. It isn't racist to not have very many Mexicans

I don't think I'm treating Lynch like a sacred cow by saying his movies can't be judged in the same way as other director's works. People use the 'Robert Mackee' method of understanding movies and criticize without understanding that a Lynch movie doesn't want to move that way. If you actually love Lynch as much as

Lynch isn't for everyone. I never think the show is dragging.

I don't understand why some people want the show to hurry up and be something else. Lynch can do whatever he wants. He's not playing the safe story. Just go with it!

People did the same thing to Twin Peaks over solving the Laura Palmer case 26 years ago. The studio ended up demanding the case be solved. He may 'wake up' on the 18th episode!

He thought they were proof of a damaged mind at first but slowly started to comprehend the almost abstract message Cooper gave him. he understood it because his mind is intelligent and open. This is a running theme in the show.

I thought he was more like the 'god' that feeds his underlings. Mike is more of a mysterious figure to me. He seems to be a threat to Bob some times and other times he is aligned with him. My answer is that there are intense rules these 'people' have to operate under and that Mikes against Bob but there are 'rules'

Was he creepy? I thought of Jerry as a hedonist. He would dance around and sing. He'd bring butter sandwiches and they would eat them loudly. He would go to prostitutes but he wasn't married. He was a terrible lawyer because he was only interested in having fun. Do people think he was creepy because he wasn't

She was also written to be creepy though. She would spy through holes like Norman Bates did with his hotel. She was so attractive that people gave her a free pass morally. When Lynch was involved, Audrey was always up to mischief.

Audrey would have still found evil Coop attractive. She was young and impressionable. He may have seen her and sired a son with her. She may be the alcoholic they referred to.

Annie would never want anything to do with evil Coop. Audrey on the other hand…

Yeah, people that don't get Lynch's movies will say, "this scene is taking forever."

Good Coop seems to have psychic 'superpowers' given to him from his lodge stay so he'll be his equal.

Yeah it was good! I think people are just let down because the first four episodes played like a four hour movie. How can one episode compete?

I don't think Dougie was a normal guy. He was co-horts with Tom Wiseman's sleazy character. He was married and seeing a prostitute. People also think of him as a bit of a piece of work too. Oh Dougy! He must've had another bender. His wife wouldn't have noticed he was evil because she doesn't notice very much. I think

I think Lynch is showing how reality is as surreal and absurd as the Black Lodge and those mystical places Cooper was at.

Evil Cooper would have visited her in the hospital. That experience probably put her into a spiral of addiction. If the boy was the offspring of Evil Coop he would be supernaturally evil too I suppose.

I think some people will be disappointed after the series is over when Phillip Jeffries doesn't show.

I don't understand what people mean when they say this doesn't have a lot of plot. A lot has happened in five episodes! So much is happening.
