A thing like that…would be very disappointing. I'm counting on you Weiner, deliver the Pete substance you've perfectly crafted and will continue to hoard, that inimitable mixture of childish vain petty vindictive progressive loyal paunchy brilliance that is Pete Campbell.

Well supposedly Bryan Batt (Sal) did, but not to Weiner's face, and once he heard about it, he wrote one of the main supporting characters off the show.
Be an actor on my show and take my son's artistic ability seriously. THAT'S WHAT THE MONEY IS FOR!
Really though, if nothing else that scene made me appreciate just

He had a plan, which was no plans!

And now that we're finally through with the roll call, what the hell happened to Cutler? Didn't he have to sign a contract, him, Ted, Don, and Roger. The guys who won Chevy. Did they send him to LA to, did they buy him out, what happened to last half-season's closest thing to an antagonist for Don?! I don't know why

I don't care what anyone says, "Zou Bisou Bisou" was goddamn amazing!
But I guess all of those terrible things cancelled it out long ago.

Sally and the side-eyes for the fucking win.
Glen's acting has never bothered me, but when he made his move on Betty it threw me and I realized he really is just a bad actor.
"You don't have character, you're just handsome."
If we don't get at least one Pete episode I'm going to riot/be slightly peeved.
Next episode ends

Nice username, can't wait for the last book to come out this summer. Geder's POV is pretty unique to read, but I still can't forgive him for Dawson. Even though he was the most entitled asshole on the planet and took his supremacy as nobility for granted, Dawson Kalliam dueled like a boss, but couldn't handle the

Before this season started and I watched episode 10, when Tywin says, "Do you really think I'd let Ilyn Payne take your head?" I immediately remembered all this and looked him up.
Last I had heard he was doing his farewell tour, but the quote I read said the cancer was a much more benign form and that once the tumor

re: Bowen, that's what I was thinking! Guess we'll find out soon enough, but definitely could be.
Edit: I mean, he actually had a spoken line. In this show, that means you're pretty much a guaranteed supporting character.

That would be a dark way to end the season.
So, you think he's going to be a wight, do you?
Seriously though I think you may be right about that being his last scene, especially with all the not so subtle hints that Selyse loves fire more than Shireen. I just don't have a clue what the hell it will actually mean if Jon

Ya, last scene is a book scene, according to Weiss.
I got $ on Dany and Drogon eating horsemeat and meeting a khalasar in the Dothraki Sea.

Jon's story actually moving forward while staying interesting is my favorite improvement this season. Dany's story is still going to have to include a bunch of the stuff that was tedious in the books, but I liked that bit with Daario and Grey Worm. Yeah, it's totally unrealistic he would stab the part of the wall

Yeah that was great, I cracked up when Slynt responds, "LIES!" It's the most evil-sounding shriek of inferiority. My favorite bit though was at the end.
MAESTER AEMON: *drops ballot, drops mic*
THE WATCH: YARRRRR!!!! SNOW!!!!11!

Yeah I know what you mean. I love Boyd's character so much, and when he proposed to Ava and was talking about the Crowder name becoming respectable in Harlan part of me wanted it to happen.
But there's just no way he would have ever been a good father, especially the patriarch of a family line. In his older years I

Was the surfing in Fiji referencing Point Break? Or am I just getting old…I would love to see a show where Wynn Duffy robs banks in an Obama mask and goes surfing with his bros at night. Until Patton "Johnny Utah" Oswalt (shit what happened to Bob? I guess he lived) has to infiltrate and arrest them. Wynn would be

"So, give me the lay. You know, of the land."

Don and Pete have the best interactions. I still laugh whenever I think about Don's meeting Pete in that LA diner, when Pete hugs him and Don has no clue how to react.
And then there's every other private conversation between them, "I can't believe I'm being lectured by the guy who just pulled his pants up on the

Yeah, the thing is I do like Megan, I can understand why some viewers didn't like her at all.
To me, Wiener's decision to have Don propose to her at the end of Season 4 paid off gigantic dividends in Season 5, which may end up being my favorite overall when this is over. That whole string from Signal 30 to Lady Lazarus

It's too bad that sweet "You don't owe me anything," line from Waterloo actually meant, "You owe me a million dollars and I'll also leave my drunk and bitter mother to take care of 'moving' all the apartment's furnishings while I go out and reject Harry's casting couch."

***Mad Men and A Dance With Dragons spoilers***
Also that famous one that had fans speculating when it really had to do with Don getting a job in London.
Roger: Bye, bye, Don Jon!
