I think Fey and Carlock secretly listened to the 'haters' and wrote out the weirdly numerous hispanic maid characters. I'm okay with it. It would theoretically be good to find out more about Donna Maria, but I don't trust Tina Fey to explore the character without reverting to lazy racist humour.
