I have to admit I'm pretty jealous. Hayes Davenport just did a theatrical reading of your comments live.

Quite a few people here just had their comments read live by Hayes Davenport and Tom Scharpling

damn that's fast didn't the last one come out a few months ago? did they film all these sequels lord of the rings style?

In watching this series for the first time, I thought the complete and utter lack of any romantic chemistry between Harry and Ron's sister to be hilarious

I want to see the X-Men series that showcases the rowdy members of the Chugalug House at the Xavier institute, struggling to get by with a C average and placing flaming bags of poop in front of Wolverine's door

Seems like a hot take.

Davis was on fire around that time. She was churning out so many incredible performances (About Schmidt, Secret Lives of Dentists, The Matador, The Weather Man, Proof) that I'm surprised she wasn't oscar nominated. Splendor was her best shot, and her and Giamatti definitely got snubbed that year.

I feel like this movie would have been more enjoyable if Sandler had cast Terry Crews in his role. The part clearly calls for one of those funny cartoonish muscle freaks, not a lethargic, sleep eyed looking regular sized person. A Rock or Wahlberg or Cena would also have been good.

Both of these movies are so much fun

That's a very fair point, and exactly why it is often done that way. A sex offender registry is a civil matter ostensibly designed to aid law enforcement in the future and alert the public. It's not meant to be punitive. The argument on the other side would be that, "actually, requiring me to register as an offender

What an awesome column idea, and this wasn't on my radar until now. Keep up the good work!

The other issue to keep in mind with predatory offender registrations is that in many states if you are charged with an enumerated sex crime, the charges are later dropped or reduced, but you are then convicted of a non-sex crime arising out of the same set of circumstances you are still required to register as a

He definitely has a good batting average. I feel like he learned a lot from Green Hornet, because he has kept the budgets small ever since and stayed away from the brand stuff

I agree exactly, the tension during the first finale, nothing can compare to it and it was part of the reason why I stopped watching.

Incredible season of television! Correct me if I'm wrong, but the reveal of the winner at the end was recorded ahead of time . . . and from my extremely hazy memory they switched to a live format to reveal the winner after that . . . am I wrong?

Too bad. Trainspotting had a great ambiguous ending.

He has said a few times he will never do an adaptation of another writer's work again, but he says a lot of things so who knows

They nominated the wrong performance that year for Django (Waltz??!). Jackson was so good that Dicaprio, who had the showier villain role, was rendered an afterthought (at least to me)

No he doesn't, which is why I assume they stuffed him into the middle

Personally, I think it's his best since Jackie Brown
