That's cool! Miscommunication was not our friend there. See I said "Hilarious and in on the joke" and then when you said "that's a stretch" I had no idea what you were saying that in response to. My bad.

Don't forget the "No Chicks" sign on his door
Looking back at your first comment "I could never make it past that cringeworthy dance sequence" I'm really not sure how I'm in the wrong here. If you're interested in finding out whether they were "in on the joke" I recommend the Nightmare documentary. Might still be on Netflix.
Oh, so you like it? Sorry I'm confused. I guess I read your comment too quickly I got the impression it wasn't for you.
Hah why? I was actually trying to avoid an argument by pointing out that taste is subjective. Many people consider Nightmare 2 to be a terrible movie. Congratulations, you're one of them.
I mean, I don't know what to tell you. It's considered a gay camp classic. Certainly not for everyone. Life is short and there's no point in wasting time on stuff you don't like so I'm glad you figured this one out.
* Craven feeling "New Nightmare" was too ahead of its time but set the stage for Scream
Hilarious and in on the joke
New Nightmare above Dream Warriors seems pretty crazy to me. Typically the original and Dream Warriors are the consensus 1-2 in some order. I guess New Nightmare has its fans, I've always thought it to be a pretty overrated movie.
I thought that the financial lesson was that the only one in the series people care about is the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe
Hemsworth parlayed Thor into Snow White, Rush, Blackhat, and In the Heart of the Sea. Those movies didn't make much of a lasting impression but it seems like his profile was definitely raised after Thor.
I love when Sir Ian "explains acting" to him
Between the two of them, I still think the Oscars and Grammys are far apart. If some combination of Spotlight, Mad Max, The Big Short, The Revenant, Bridge of Spies, Room, Brooklyn, Carol, The Martian, Straight out of Compton etc. gets nominated as expected that will be a pretty good mix of crowd pleasing fare and…
I enjoyed it as well, but kind of wished it had been made by David Fincher the entire time.
I wish the Norfolk Four documentary "The Confessions" had made this list. I've been recommending it to anyone that enjoyed "Making a Murderer" to ram home the final nail in any lingering skepticism they might have about false confession phenomenon.
That's an interesting take. Most consider that to be his best performance.
As long as you comprehend you know something today that you didn't yesterday, I consider this interaction a success.
There is an enormous difference between a public defender and a court appointed lawyer.
Thanks, I've been trying to get to the bottom of his stance on religion for a while now.
Many, amazingly, still find a way. Typically this is due to the fact that public defender jobs are highly competitive and lawyers hired to offices are those at the top of their class capable of getting a lot of work done with limited resources.
