It's an outstanding debut

This was the first Marvel film I had ever seen. My son is obsessed with this superhero culture and just turned old enough to be able to see PG-13 movies in the theater. I took him, and we both had an excellent time. This was a very funny, entertaining crowd pleaser. If all of Marvel's films are this light and breezy I

"You know what I mean?" is all I can muster up. Your generation is very witty.

Very interesting. I did a lot of LSD back in the day. I could never feign up the interest in watching television while doing so. It just seemed like a meaningless glowing box that held no sway or power over me. Perhaps times are different now with the buffet of options, the flat screens, and the HD capability.

This is why this has become one of my favorite websites recently. I have never heard of this Fessenden character, but I will definitely be checking out his work now. Add it to the list along with Community and The Runaways comic. Glad my son told me to get off NPR and check you guys out.

Interesting, that's actually my favorite combo. The difference between the Simpsons and something like Family Guy for me, which I just can't do.

Thank you for the recommendation, I will do that.

Let's just say the first president I voted for was Dukakis

Is this a show an older guy can get into? Is it a lot of ironic reference humor or is there some actual heart behind it?

You are absolutely right!

Perhaps only Stallone has made more terrible movies

I believe the shit starter in question was Norm Macdonald, who is known for stirring the pot.

I'm not sure it's quite that simple. The original Nutty Professor was quite funny at the time, and people forget that he won the National Society of Film Critics Award for Best Actor that year. His vocal work in Mulan and, at the very least the original Shrek, was also impressive. Bowfinger has its fans, and Life is a

Wow. Never heard of this series. Seems like it would make a great animated series if they can't get the budget for the live action route.

I probably should have explained this better, my apologies. Back in the late 70's/early 80's there weren't a lot of cool characters for young girls to look up to. Leia was one of them. Confident, opinionated, a leader. Seeing her in eroticized slave gear just betrayed a little of that, that's all, at least to my

I can attest to this. The website Oscar Igloo had Redmayne and Cumberbatch as the favorites at the end of last summer, with Keaton hanging around a little bit after them. This year they have been sticking to Depp-Dicaprio as the two favorites, with Fassbender, Redmayne, and Will Smith bringing up the rear.

I am sincerely sorry. I wasn't sure where your line of questioning was going and was trying to honestly answer your question. Hopefully I didn't give the impression that I am very gym fit as I just do sort of the basic things that someone my age needs to do if they hope to have a shot at living a long life (i.e. work

I am new to this website so I'm not sure if this is some kind of joke going over my head. I'm not gay, but feel kind of weird saying that because I'm not sure what I am trying to explain away and do not want to give the impression that being gay is something to defend against. I have been happily married for 20 years

I've kept in pretty good shape my whole life. Admittedly I am a little long in the tooth (45 years old) and don't have quite the biceps I had in my early 20's but I can still bench press 215 pounds and my abs have maintained themselves nicely thanks to the strict diet I keep. I'm not sure I understand your question

Admittedly, that was impressive and I made that same point to her back in 83' as we saw it opening weekend together. From my sister's point of view, the question was why she had to be essentially naked for the first 25 minutes of the movie to begin with as this was a character she really looked up to. Perhaps she was
