I think people want to think they're really smart, and so they're trying to out-think the writers and figure the show out before it happens. Now this is really dumb: if you've ever figured out where a show is going to go before it does then it isn't satisfying, but disappointing. But, if you get it wrong, then you

Arrow is a recent example, notable too because the ship made the show much, much worse.

I don't think race is an unacceptable topic for jokes. I have stated that so many times by now. I also don't think that the video, in a vaccuum, is racist.

Well, I don't know much about that guy, and I don't know his jokes, though telling starving people, often displaced by war, to 'move where the fucking food is' is startlingly ignorant on so many levels, on a basic geographical level, on a sociopolitical level, on a historical level. So from that alone I probably won't

I find Frankie Boyle funny, and he touches on far worse subject matter than Schumer. I don't think there is such a thing as a subject which is off-limits. My only demand for comedy is that it should be funny. Being funny can make almost any joke, be it black jokes, holocaust jokes, rape jokes even, seem OK, at least

Erm… no, I'm not saying that it's against the rules. You're putting words in my mouth. At no point have I even hinted towards having the authority to decide what should or shouldn't be 'allowed'. You don't get to say that critics are trying to decide the rules because they aren't. Schumer is free to make her parodies

Well, just because you don't (want to) believe in something doesn't mean that thing does not exist.

There are no rules to comedy. There are also no rules to criticising someone privileged for thinly-veiled 'parodies' with racist undertones.

Something about punching up.

Reminds me of Annie Lennox claiming that Strange Fruit was a song about 'all oppression' despite it being very specifically about a Black oppression which was not a part of her history.

Well, it's not a million miles away from blackface.

Especially when they were hitting the window

I'll only rank this season, cos I can't remember all of the other ones and I don't think I've seen them all:

Getting a trashjob?

OK so as someone from the UK, can you please tell me exactly what is so bad about Hillary Clinton? I see people saying she should be in jail for this or that but I honestly don't know what she's done that's so terrible.

Because mutual hatred is the default setting for rom-coms.

WOES should get pegged to sleep every night, to see how it feels.

Hmm, I've seen a study which said that people were more likely to have body image issues if their parents talked about appearance, even if they complimented them. It can send a message to kids that looks are everything, which is a message they get enough from society and the media (God dammit Disney).

I don't know, but I can tell you the rules I go by. My rule of thumb is if I have any doubt whether or not to say it, don't, because not saying it might make me seem inattentive or apathetic but that beats being a creep.

So basically you frottage your partner accidentally like twice a night when you roll over with a boner.
