He's obviously going to be Commissioner Donovan and set out the bat signal whenever he needs Damon

My problem with reviewers declaring themselves #Team______ is their reviews often start to attract fans that agree with them and repel those that disagree. Then the discussion in the comments gets homogenous and, frankly, much less interesting. #TeamDifferentOpinionsRule

I love this show. The writers do a fantastic job of balancing the telenovela twists (Mateo is kidnapped! Petra has Rafael's sperm!) with scenes filled with such genuine emotion, particularly those involving the Villanueva women. And they also manage to write a love triangle where they can easily pull the affection

I doubt they play off Rafael's decision as noble. I think his intentions were very loving, but his actions were very patronizing. He under-valued both Jane's feelings and her ability to make a decision for herself. I bet she's gonna be hella mad when she finds out. I do think that his actions made great sense

Yeah, I thought it worked too. They've established well that Rafael internalizes and doesn't confront the hard stuff head on and this is definitely hard stuff. And they've also established that Jane doesn't dissuade easily when she wants something. So I thought it made a lot of sense, character-wise, for him to end

I see people comment a fair amount on Baldoni not being a strong actor. He's obviously not nearly as talented as Gina, but I actually think how he plays Rafael works for the character. That is, Rafael seems like the kind of guy that really wants to project a nothing-fazes-me image, but then emotion sneaks through at

I agree with you that Rafael is giving Jane real reasons to have concerns about how they're going to co-parent, but I also empathize with how much he's going through and realize there are real reasons why other areas are distracting him emotionally. As much as the writers are showing that Rafael might be prioritizing

Um… it says gender has nothing to do with a more established actor deciding they no longer want to do nude scenes?

I give Jane some points for self-awareness - one of her first meaningful conversations with Rafael was when she told him his kid would probably be judgey because she's judgey. But, yeah the show doesn't emphasize her flaws as much as it does for others. I get it, since she's our heroine, but it would be nice to see

I agree. While Rafael and Jane's break-up seems inevitable, I don't want to see her back with Michael immediately because it would undermine Jane's character. Even though I didn't love the quick flip-flop from Michael to Rafael when it happened, it worked narratively. Jane was embracing a completely different side

I'd like to see Carol and Rick (who are in a do-whatever-it-takes mindset) pitted against Michonne and Darryl (who are starting to engage with the community) about what they should do re: Alexandria. It seems like it's setting up that way, plus it would be an interesting conflict among the four most interesting

Um, describing Sasha isn't very hard… She's pragmatic, unemotional and tenacious. And those were all things the show had conveyed prior to this episode. I don't disagree that character development suffers at times under the size of the cast, but I also don't get the need to ignore that character development that we
