Late to the Party
disqusgiy2dr8k1e--disqus

Your post instilled fear in my heart until a quick google search suggested that the show won't actually come to fruition, given that Fox picked it up in 2009 and the last news report on it comes from Oct 2011.

Already done by METZ

A comment that is truly late to the party for a song that will never get selected:

If it's any consolation, they're not all that great.

I was lucky to catch one of those performances of Death of a Salesman, and Hoffman completely inhabited the character of Willie Loman throughout.

Flawless was probably the beginning of my PSH love.

::Considers Tweeting to friends, listens to tracks, reconsiders::

1. Turn on the Water
2. You, My Flower
3. If I Were Going / Debonair (can't listen to one without the other)
4. Band of Gold (I know it's a cover, but it's awesome)
5. I forget the rest…

And yet the screenplay for my Asian fast-food dramedy Leann Chin continues to go unproduced.

I didn't ask for Santana Abraxis. I didn't listen to Santana Abraxis. I didn't do anything!

You Are the Everything is a fine song, but it's on Green.

DARTH METH

Agreed that their performance is pretty great. I would find that song mysteriously popping into my head this past fall, even though I hadn't listened to my recently-acquired copy of The Fabulous Style of The Everly Brothers for weeks.

Liked for unexpected My Sister Sam reference.

It's also the cover for Plays Pretty for Baby, which - along with several others above - I highly recommend.

In the liner notes for Plays Pretty for Baby, they say Ulysses denied his own humanity and effectively nationalized himself when he declared "I am no man" to the blinded Polyphemus.
