That sequence is hysterical. Bless Rich Moore and his classic-Simpsons-and-Futurama-forged talent for screwball comedy.

I covered the Minions premiere. The third (yes, there's three) director yelled this shit. Thousands of audienced members yelled it back.

Inside Out is fantastic. Anomalisa is a masterpiece.

He had so many strong reservations.

Yeah, he's also gonna be the Skeletor-esque feature film version of Lord Hater in Wander Over Yonder, a show that's actually brilliant NOW instead of a rotting shell of its former, brilliant self. We could've talked about that, but alas.

Which is why they sort of did it.

Toy Story 3 already did it.

They've made bigger changes to the status quo before (Ford, for instance). I think this is a good choice for the show in the long run, even if it does seem like more well-worn sitcom territory than sticking to it.

Tad's voice actor, by the way, was Welcome To Night Vale host/main character/narrator Cecil Baldwin. I loved that.

Controversial opinion: this was the funniest episode of the season. Not the best; since, y'know, 11/12; but still a remarkable achievement.

There are actually fully animated commercial breaks between the three "acts" as well. I love that special feature so much.

He was on a very famous videogame.

Her co-writer in this is also her Celeste and Jesse Forever co-writer, so they were probably hired because of it. I'm still skeptical, but we'll see.

It did seem more like Rick finally realizing his own toxicity and what it does to people than just the break-up, yeah. At least that's how I read it.
