Andrew Bird has always done his own thing. His sound as evolved over time, but he has not been one to try and reinvent the wheel every album. I put him in the same category of Spoon - each album is timeless and super solid, but not necessarily crazy all that different from each other.

Shouldn't the argument be about whether or not she has the right to quote scripture and not at all about the validity of that scripture?

"yes… love… is… a baked… sweetpotato…………… thank you"

It's like, if Don Cheadle was playing himself in a movie about Don Cheadle trying to get an Oscar, Miles Ahead is the movie he would make in that movie. It's Don Cheadle's "Hard to Watch"

I fell asleep and then woke up just in time for Samuel L Jackson's fun story

George Lucas might not be the best storyteller, but everything he did with each of his Star Wars films pushed filmmaking techniques and technology forward in major ways. He always strove to make something new, and not settle for nostalgia and familiarity.

because clearly the most important part of "old-fashioned filmmaking techniques" is the type of camera it's shot on.

"Titanium blades. They can cut through diamonds!" "I'm not wearing any diamonds!"

Lee Hardcastle is the best! He did an equally gory music video for Sufjan "Mr Frosty Man" and it's greatttt

good grief i was being sarcastic i'm so tired of hearing about it

thank you

The "should we even celebrate columbus day" argument never gets old

the best part is that it starts off with a seinfeld-esque bit on glove compartments. "What's the deal with glove compartments?? There's no gloves in there!"

With endless options for renewal?

Andrew Bird is appropriate for all audiences. Go for it. Seriously.

#7 is literally the plot from the Get Smart movie.
