You can't make me!!

I'll stick with Perd Hapley, thanks

Maybe this is just another horrible parody, or MAYBE this is a satire of parody culture, taking the whole "parody" thing to such an extreme as to make it horrible.

It didn't seem like they were saying they should do a direct remake of the show, but rather do a historical comedy anthology in the same vein as Blackadder…

NOPE

It's not about the journey, it's the destination… for real, though, whenever I find myself just grinding through quests in Skyrim I know it's time to take a break for a while. I don't really find the main storyline that interesting, but exploring and finding all the little details and hidden things is 90% of the fun

Interesting. I wasn't aware of what was going on back then. I was a little boy, but I wanted to be big boy.

I certainly do not speak for all Christians, but there is a balance that we (Christians) need to find. You're influenced by the things you surround yourself by. We need a support system of other believers to help each other grow in the right direction. Christians need to mature and grow over a long period of time.

U2, in general, influenced a lot of contemporary Christian music today. If you listen to a contemporary Christian radio station or go to a "cool" church (like, the kind with professional stage lighting and fog machines) U2 is all over the place.

Their last album Supernatural was very U2, but yeah their earlier stuff was more 90s than the 90s

Another thought I just had: the promise that sex is going to be perfect the first time like that probably isn't a very good message for anyone.

It's a weird dynamic between showing sinful people but also being afraid that they're going to say that it's okay to be sinful.

Also, look at Ecclesiastes or Job or Psalms… it gets pretty real and desperate.

I appreciate this. As a Christian (and person interested in filmmaking), I find bad Christian art like this so very offensive. I grew up listening to contemporary Christian music and have recently been looking back and realizing each of those bands had exact secular counterparts (Skillet = NIN, later DC Talk = U2,

C+ ? Hey, it's above average…

It's crazy how much this movie was inspired by Decker.

I understand what you're saying and your comments are valuable, but I'm gonna ignore your advice.

I don't even know any more
