On another note - I wouldn't necessarily call it lazy. It takes a lot of time and effort from production design, cinematography, and color correction to adhere to any one color scheme. It's not a matter of slapping a "hollywood movie" filter on everything in iMovie.

Can we please avoid linking to articles that cite Cracked as a legitimate source?

For real what was he supposed to say other than that non-answer?

I saw the Sound and the Fury at a film festival. The dude knows how to make a not terrible movie.

Just in time for Tim Allen's the Shaggy Dog 10th anniversary!! Side note- I'd like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that Robert Downey Jr. was in that movie. And he runs around on all fours and pants like a dog. That is all.

I try to avoid the song when I can, and I know she's saying something else, but I can't hear anything but starbucks lovers. I'm sure that's a better lyric than whatever it really is.

However, I will NOT let her get Starbucks Lovers

I feel like the phrase "sick beat" is so old it could be considered used. If Taylor swift wants to get her hands on some secondhand catchphrases, she can go right ahead. She can have wazzup while she's at it, nobody's gonna miss it.

If that's what staying too long at a party is like I'm not sure I want to experience that.

Oof. We have differing tastes.

Did the director murder your family or something? I think part of my issue is that it kind of just feels like you're taking a massive dump on a small-ish movie that's ultimately forgettable.

I enjoyed the article, and learned about how even a mediocre movie has elements that can be overlooked by the average film-goer. I just feel that outlandish exaggerated superlatives that aren't backed up distract from the rest of the article.

Her?

"How the perfect shot can ruin a film" and "Divergent may be the worst film released in the past decade", despite being the two most prominently placed and provocative statements, are the least supported by the body of the article. True, they may overdo the "hands" thing, but how does that make the film worse than,

Boom. Roasted.

I think my tastes broke a long time ago, but that doesn't stop me from feeling like everyone else is wrong.

Oh no!! Judging by the comments, i guess I'm in the minority but Birthday Boys was my favorite sketch show (yes, more than Portlandia and whatever else there is out there). It obviously wasn't for everyone, but these silly guys doing silly things cracked me up. Book Guy, Keepin the Beat, and Goldhoff & Steinstein are

A lady who went to my tiny lil church actually was the sister of the Blob director… apparently he was mostly interested in faith-based films, but he used the Blob to get started and learn how to make movies. I wish I could have met him, but he died working on a faith-based amusement park in Jordan…

He donut belong here

I would agree, that episode in particular was pretty despicable… The exception to the rule would probs be Adam Scott…
