this election is starting to remind me of 9/11 in that everything and anything is being filtered anew thru that prism as if it did actually change everything. with 9/11 it was understandable. with the election, it's just annoying. it was a good movie though.

i'm just glad that comedy seems to have rediscovered that you can and should make fun of the president.

some movies you can easily get the feeling that they just tried too hard.

it took a simple joke that might've made people chuckle a little and gave it a weight that made it seem almost profound. because of the seriousness with which a lot of people took it, it made the joke seem daring.

the reaction made it a better joke than it was on its merits. good to see that snl still has some guts now and then.

my favorite 'gilmore girls' episode was when they were on 'family guy' and made out with each other.
