but that's not an argument most people make. altering the constitution is possible, but that's not the tactic that's very popular honestly. it's more popular to work around it.

i will have to see more reviews before i consider watching this. this is one of those films where i have little confidence that it will keep politics out of it. you can certainly make a film that has a story that includes politics, but it's a trickier proposition, and one where most people fail. besides, it's really

i get what you're saying, and i know that politics has become an epithet over the years. but all those things you mention are, by definition, political. that's kind of what politics is.

i'm simply saying that most people, to the extent that they know the term ar-15, know it from media reports. pretty straightforward.

it's not just kids who wonder aloud about that very thing.

it's really not. it's more like red meat for the more rabid among the right to chew on for purposes of ratings. the left and the right both do it. contrary to popular belief, conservatives are real human beings too.

not to mention that the, "i regret if anyone found it offensive" line really should be retired because there's always someone who finds anything offensive and we all know that going in.

"Why would the administration make Kirkman the only person who could possibly be president in a time of chaos if Rothman didn't think it was appropriate for him to be president in a time of chaos?"

i saw the first episode and liked it, and almost gave the second episode a try, but it's the 24 side of the show that keeps me from coming back. if it were more of a straight political show, i might be more interested. i'm also not sure where this show will be a year from now, and that has me not wanting to spend too

i'm not sure i really want to see this, but i know people who do, and since i've pretty much decided that anything with emily blunt can't be a waste of an afternoon, i've already pre ordered my popcorn.

or maybe you're just one of those mentally ill people that see's stuff that isn't there…..?!

"ban anyone"

"The fact that this nation didn't have a serious, sober reckoning about how fucked up things have become"

"What really disgusts me is how the AR15 more then tripled its sales after the shooting and how our country's gun culture blatantly promoted it to the point where its now a house hold name."

i don't know how that's shocking though in a world where people believe so many other things.

this is at least more honest than either side waiting until the debate is over and then, regardless of what actually happened, saying their team won.

i'm very appreciate that we finally have something more than adorable commercials to enjoy kristen bell in. if they cancel this show early, i will gladly go to the bad place after i beat nbc executives silly.

just about what i figured.

"That quote reminds me of Chris Wallace's declaration that it's not the job of a debate moderator to fact check."

holt did well in comparison to past moderators.
