Agreed - All I have to go on is your stated derision toward prospects who reject you out of hand without hearing what you have to offer. Does that not infer these people would have to have been approached cold in order to proffer their rejection in the first place?

I just noticed a bizarre Survivor coincidence:

Please explain how approaching someone unsolicited without them knowing what you want to talk about isn't cold calling? I'm missing something here…

This! Nothing a bully hates worse than to be stood up to, and he let his rage at Tai for daring to defy him and not hand over his idol override his reason.

And the big point here that he wasn't really 'fired'. He's a self-employed real estate agent who had been signed on with this brokerage for 17 days when they disassociated themselves from him by saying he was part of a news story they wanted nothing to do with. Strictly pragmatic - no politics and certainly not

"Most of all, fuck Ozzy for making us sit through his ridiculous speeches about winning the game by winning a lot of immunity challenges. That is the least interesting way to win the game. No one cares."

Perhaps this is a good place to ask a question regarding the idol(s). After many seasons it still baffles me that players tell ANYONE when they have an idol in their possession. I have trouble remembering specific details from past seasons, but does anyone recall when sharing this secret to 'gain trust' has ever

Holy Cow I thought the same thing! Obviously some people excel at focusing and blocking out distractions, but personally I can't imagine trying to complete some of those intense challenges with Probst yelling his narrative the whole time.

Well spoken!! As a notorious introvert with deep-seated resentment for alpha-males and bullies, I think I just learned something about myself from reading this post.

Wow - Cold calling going a little rough I'm guessing?

I would agree, however given Jimmy's demonstrated propensity for using the letter of the law to legally skirt the rules I would have expected him to show up with a copy of his policy in hand prepared to argue the details.

Dude that may be the strangest criticism I've ever heard levied upon a television show

I could have sworn in episode one the videotape shown as evidence has a timestamp of 2001…

I love my Dodge Journey too! Mine's blue.

"The problem I have is when someone who simply says NO without knowing what they are turning down is something I cannot respect and it shows a lack of confidence and even intelligence from the person who seems programed to say no without even listening. There are times when it is not a good fit or the need is not

On a different note, how depressing was that poor insurance agent's view out her office window?

"Again, I'm calling it: Jimmy moves to burn down Chuck's house with his premiums up to leave him destitute, but somehow Kim ends up hurt and/or inadvertently killed…"

I loved Cirie when she was couch potato mom who was afraid of leaves. On subsequent seasons I found she fell into the all-too-common Survivor alumni trap of reading and believing her own press during her fifteen minutes of fame - trying to live up to a 'character' instead of being herself.

Actually that was for Culpepper. Probst has a long-standing penchant for the alpha males - the more arrogant the better.

Probably just promo fake-out. Jimmy also used the name Saul Goodman when he was running cons, so it could be Jimmy reminiscing with Kim about the old days.
