I saw the trailer for the first time ever with a bunch of my nerdy mexican friends, male and female. We didn't have any problem with the gender stuff but everybody agreed that this looked like a really, really stupid cash grab.

When I went to see The Peanuts Movie, they showed the first five minutes of the wrong movie to a theater full of little children. I don't remember what movie it was but the very first scene was of a couple having steamy sex in the shower.

That kind of attitude was prevalent in american media during the nineties. I watched "Matilda" recently and it was all about kids revolting against horrible adults.

I really wanted to see a DC Cinematic Universe based on Nolan's movies, with Joseph Gordon-Levitt as the new Batman. I don't know why they didn't follow that path.

Dude, this is weird. I haven't seen this movie yet, but earlier today, before reading the reviews I was thinking "what if this thing is as bad as Batman and Robin?"
