I love Michelle Pfeiffer. It's kind of like she never really was characterized much outside that of a seducing ingenue from her younger roles. She's a great actress capable of more.

Do you have to watch the 1st season to follow the show, or can you go straight to the 2nd and it still makes sense? I was one of those who lost interest due to the first season (got through 3 eps).

NIls Lofgren on any live version of Bruce Springsteen's 'Because the Night'. Listening to it is like taking ecstacy and it builds for so long into a mad frenzy. When he hits the high wailing notes about 3/4 of the way through, i can feel it all the way through my body.

Yeah, i was gonna say… I really *love* Silicon Valley but Middleditch gives off kinda self absorbed actor bro vibes in this interview, i couldn't make my way through the whole thing.
I saw Kumail Nanjiani's stand up once and he had a great, natural personality - someone you'd like to have a drink with.

"I specifically state in my profile that I am not here to chat and that "Hey there" or "what's up" will guarantee an instant deletion of your message."

I love Red Bull. I limit myself to one small can a week and i always feel shame being seen with the can, so i buy it as fast as possible and drink it in my room at home.

Yeah, i think Dev's mother is just an awful actor as well, i find it very distracting, especially since his dad is so animated.
I also found the kid in Italy to be pretty bad, but hey, he's just a kid and there's a lot of bad kid actors so he gets a pass.

She's 21 years younger than her husband in the movie, Javier Bardem, as it's the same age difference between her and Aronofsky (who she is dating in real life) - so i guess it's all pretty healthy and normal then.

This reminds me of when i was in college, and students were getting pretty irritated by the head of our program - he was never available, messed up the course requirements and was generally a pompous asshole.

Of all the awful stuff in Gummo, it's the eating spaghetti in dirty bathwater part that stuck with me the most as it's so viscerally gross.

During that scene my boyfriend at the time says, "I can't believe i'm saying this, but that girl on girl scene was horrific."

Rotten.com was one of the first modern-era websites i ever saw. Some kid in the library was like, "Hey look at this!" and it was a guy who had a motorcycle accident whose head was now ground beef. My mind wouldn't register it as real at first, it seemed like an impossible thing to see as real at 15.

Why not? Visit Wayne Gretzky's childhood home while you're at it.

I'm a tall woman (5'10) and i personally have been attracted to guys anywhere from 5'6 on up. The 5'6 guy had a nice face and an amazing personality (he, however, not so much into me :P).

This is totally reasonable. On guys profiles i'd always be wary of guys who would have a list of 'don't be's': Don't take an hour to get ready, don't be rude to waitstaff, etc. Even if i wasn't all those things, it seemed like they were people who would be analyzing me to see if i were 'good enough' to date them. I

And how it proliferates everywhere. Like it's supposed to be the bright side of life's awful situations. "I know you have cancer and are scared of dying but you'd make *such* a beautiful corpse!" Like even if you're in awful emotional pain - at least everyone loves you now for being what they like to look at.

Like when my coworker's husband of 30 years died, and she lost 50 pounds. My boss couldn't stop telling her how amazing she looks.

When my friend was recovering from radiation therapy - and had no desire to eat due to the cancer - was when she said guys would hit on her the most in her whole life.

They just gotta get my former roommate, circa 2001, to chain smoke 8 hours a day in front of it.

My friend had kids young ( at 18) so he's now the cool dad. His daughter is a young teen and she shares a bunch of her dad's interests (like superheros, comics, Monty Python, 70s punk) though she told him she has trouble making friends because she can't relate to other kids her age very well.
