I saw In The Mood For Love only a few months ago and it is indeed absolutely gorgeous. Especially Tony Leung, he's so handsome it's ridiculous.

Those kids playing James Brown was, i am pretty sure, the whitest thing i've ever seen.

Me too. If i am craving a burger (which is one of the few cravings i ever have) i pretty much always skip on the fries. Why take in an extra 300 calories for something i get tired of eating, 5 fries in? That could be a perfectly good chocolate bar instead!

Five Guys has the best processed cheese anywhere. The fries don't do much for me (though i think Burger King fries, 4th on the list, are disgusting) - but the cheeseburger at Five Guys is heaven.

This is really common at a Springsteen show, it's all good.

Bruce *never* phones it in. A lot of other artists with a lot less cred should take note.

Gene Rayburn was such a nice host, too. A lot of game show hosts are a bit smug or dull or creepy. Gene Rayburn was always a perfectly pleasant guy. I lived with a family my first year of college who had the Gameshow Network and got addicted to all the old iterations of Match Game.

It sounds a lot like haggis, how it's made and how versatile it is (the idea of it is also gross but the taste is fantastic!)

Go away, Dov Charney.

The thigh high socks were the best. I live in a cold climate and used to bike most of the winter and they were perfect for keeping my legs warm over leggings. And in the bedroom they always got a , uh, very appreciative reception.

You gotta come to Canada and watch a nature doc with David Suzuki narrating, he's great!

No, the problem here is deadly gas.

Office Space. It's not, like, incredible, but i've honestly probably watched it more than any other movie and still always laugh after all these years. I think how repeatedly re-watchable something is belongs in this category.
I'd say the same thing about his tv show Silicon Valley as well, it's a perfect throw off

My boyfriend turned 40 a few weeks after we started dating and he was *not* cool with it. Didn't want to mention it, didn't want to do anything, just pretended like it never happened. He acted for a few weeks like he was going to die immediately.

I didn't love Nocturnal Animals - i thought it was worth a watch but that's it - however I did think the story structure was great - i wish all directors, when flipping between two or more semi-related stories could do it so nicely.

Yes! I'm Canadian too and have much older cousins who have a British father so i would get all their old Noddy and Paddington books (Paddington is like a 150 page book there). I was always confused when he was talking about giving the shopkeepers 'Pound notes'. Like i thought he was just writing 'IOU's' to everyone,

When i was a kid, the head of the Sunday school would perform as a clown at Easter, reenacting the Jesus on the cross story. He would walk down the aisle in full clown regalia with a crown of thorns on his head, carry a large cross on his back, while the kids waved palm fronds around him.

And since he originally was a dancer in the first place, it's something he could pull off seriously, so that combined with his personality just makes it funnier (and more impressive), rather than just Cage mugging for the camera.

The Cuban place near me has deep fried conch fritters that are damn incredible. I could eat 12 in one sitting.

Steve and Harry were the best guys on there, especially Steve - he really helped change Miranda for the better.
