I dunno bout that 'was' there. I think she's still addicted to Hive, in whatever sense she ever was. She went back to him of her own free will. If he still existed and dangled the possibility of getting swayed again, she'd go back again.

I guess that's fair. What I was trying to say was that thinking of Ward as 'redeemed' because he is Shield, or 'fallen' because he is with Hydra is misunderstanding the character.
A very good question is to what degree Ophelia *is* AIDA, and to what degree either of them *are* the Framework. Is the robot walking around while her software version runs the Framework's Hydra? Are they moment by moment connected, or do they just sync up every once in a while? Would the framework still work if…
If you repeat it enough time sit becomes true, right? That's how it works?
If someone asks if you want to get out, just get out.
Come on. We just saw a whole episode go by without even one character learning that keeping secrets from the team is wrong! That's no way to live.
When Radcliffe was like "go to the real world base, pull your people out, leave us inside" I was thinking that that was not how it was gonna go down. It's the moral response though.
Open question whether Ophelia can kill anyone (any 'real' person), that is. Also open whether her imaginary Hydra soldiers would be able to. Radcliffe is a pacifist. He might well have put something like 'never kill anyone' in her constraints file or whatever.
Uh… 'SHE's got HIM wrapped around her digital finger'? I kind of feel like you have that backwards.
I really liked the 'Make Our Society Great Again' being immediately call-and-responsed with 'Hail Hydra'. Just in case you didn't get the parallel.
I'll go out on a limb and say that Fitz has a better relationship with his Dad. Like, the character has never really been defined by his angst. It would make sense if his 'greatest regret' was just an offscreen deal.
I don't think Ward has ever seriously changed. Like, Hydra Ward is just Shield Ward, is just Lost Little Boy Ward. He'll always be on the same side as his close allies, doesn't care about the bigger picture.
The thing is, Daisy never had the problem with Hive that a lot of viewers seem to think. Like, she went back to him. If she was gonna have her flesh crawl from Ward I think it would be Original Ward that repel'd her. She'd have much less problem with Hive.
Great things from this ep:
NEVER BETRAYED YOU.
Good to see Ward back again. It isn't a season of AoS without Grant Ward.
"Ward, listen, I have NEVER BETRAYED YOU."
"Are Hydra all nazis?" "Every Last One Of Them."
If you watch 5 tv shows, I'm not sure you can say you watch very little TV.
Cool guys don't look at explosions.
