Cobain is to Music = JFK is to Politics. It will always be a lot of what if's.

I don't think they recovered from the Russell Edgington story lines because they never had a big bad that can hold the guys lunch.

Lafayette not getting any lines/screen time in the final episode is awful, we deserve at least one -"Hookah" or "Bitch"

EDIT: Caved in and drank last night, not hungover though. Lets try again tonight!

Yeah, drank a bottle of vodka Sunday and a few beers. Really hungover on Monday so obviously when I got home from work I drank more vodka. Had a stressful day on Tuesday so I drank more vodka last night. Going to try and not drink tonight, wish me luck.

Mac Demarco - Salad Days

Pitchfork gave it a 3.0 and was cursing by the 3rd sentence.

For a show I've watched and re-watched on the treadmill, its really disappointing that its ending on a whimper. 2 episodes left and I'm like eh, its not that exciting. It should be exciting that its ending - who is everyone rooting for at the end? I hope Bill dies. Honestly if any character dies I wouldn't be that

I never read it, but I like the first season, Second season so far is a tad better.

Is AvClub going to cover the second season of Hemlock Grove? So far its pretty cool.

Agreed. When you look at the receipt the next day and say….I spent 30 dollars at taco bell?!

I liked the volcano tacos. [insert diarrhea joke here]

Just started watching season 1, up to episode 4, I like it a lot. Not everything is breaking bad or whatever.

HA! That's a perfect description of McCarthy's books. There are parts in The Road that had me in tears and then something horrific happeneds.

Thats the next McCarthy I want to read. I felt that way after I read The Road. I needed a week or two before I could read anything. I've read No Country for Old Men too and that was great.

Awesome…question - which version should I read…Penguin classic? Abridged, Unabridged?

David Cooperfeild is on my list too, after Count of Monte Cristo.

Glad I wasn't the only person who thought this.

I think I stood for the entirety of the episode, I couldn't sit down.

How is the Expance? Was thinking of putting that on my list,
