I have the same relationship with the Posette. Every so often, she will consent to me pedantically explaining the backstories of comic book characters on TV shows. She starts ignoring me about two minutes in, but she will gently pat me on the head.

He never asked a question. it was just a premature closing argument. Treating a witness as hostile does not mean giving a soliloquy on why he is an asshole.

I kept waiting for the flashback to start. What an oddly constructed scene.

I believe Dad Rock is nearly any rock band I like. So, for my kids, Dad Rock will be Pavement, Mclusky, the Minutemen, Mudhoney, Fugazi, Drive-by Truckers, and the like. I'm on the fence if Sleater-Kinney is dad rock because we listen to a lot of S-K in the car, but I think Dad Rock needs to be fronted by a white guy

Also, as Foggy pointed out in an earlier scene, Frank clearly committed these crimes. He can't put up a good faith "he didn't do it" defense given the circumstances. Matt totally hosed Foggy.

To be fair, in this fictional court system, Foggy isn't allowed to ask leading question on cross, so you gotta give the defense something. When Reyes objected to a leading question on cross, and it was sustained, I just decided that the Marvel universe has different rules of civil procedure.

Yeah, I feel the hate supporting characters gets goes along the lines of "How dare this character have entirely reasonable objections to the protagonist's selfish behavior and its effect on others?"

As perhaps the biggest Foggy fan on the internet, this was a showpiece episode for him. He calls out Matt for all of his BS, and has to wing an opening statement with no prep, yet manages to create a somewhat coherent narrative and theory of the case despite the straight jacket his client has put him in. This episode

While the R&R HOF is a complete joke, this article did make me slightly appreciate its existence. Slightly. I mean, there was a genuine moment of appreciation for a band like Deep Purple going in and having the influence they did on the next generation. And the great moment for two fans to see their two favorite bands

I do like her point about rom-coms. One of the reasons it is such a disfavored genre, critically, is that they are geared towards women. I like a big comic book movie in which cities get blown up as the next guy, but I also enjoy a mediocre Drew Barrymore or Julia Roberts rom com. It's an enjoyable 100 minutes.

I am thrilled she's getting a large role. I think you're right on that count, too. I just wish that large role was going to a better version of the character. And there should be space for Poison Ivy while we're at it.

90% of anything is crap. Of course most 90s pop punk bands were terrible, but the cream of the Lookout!/Epitaph/Vagrant crop made some fun records that I still enjoy. Your mileage may vary.

My favorite one season show of all-time. Yes, even more than Firefly.

That is depressingly accurate.

Exactly. Look, like all former punks from the 80/90s, I take my myself too seriously and own all of Fugazi's records plus all the Nation of Ulysses, Minutemen, and Wire records I'm supposed to own.

Can't I listen to both?

I was 12 or 13, and making my first tentative steps into punk. More 'Mats than Husker Du, though. Had just started rejecting top 40, but I was still kinda into "college rock" (I had an older brother, the great gateway for 12 year olds everywhere).

I really do not like the hyper-sexualized version of Harley Quinn. I want her hanging out with Poison Ivy, having moved on from her misguided crush on the Joker. It bothers me this is going to be the entry point to the character for a lot of people.

I am a non-native Texan married to a lifelong Rangers fan (and whose father owns season tickets). We didn't even notice the batflip because we were too busy shouting expletives over the home run which, I'm pretty sure, hasn't landed yet.

Honestly, this is BS. The bat flip was widely praised and public support for it widely outpaced whatever criticism he received, which was mild at best. I mean, who cares what Goose Gossage says? I didn't even know he worked in the baseball media. USA Today supported it. ESPN supported. MLB Network praised it. Almost
