My other major memory from that show is that it was so hot, the stadium staff actually set up a garden hose you could drink water out of so you didn't die of heat exhaustion.

I had the same experience with Limp Bizkit, only at RFK on a day it was approximately the same temperature as the surface of the sun. I felt like I would burst into flame at any moment. I remember three thoughts I had during the Limp Bizkit set:

I'm in the process of this and it is a beatdown. Handbrake is a good program, but ripping everything to a hard drive has required me to strip out all of the bonus features for space purposes.

That's called moving to the Central Time Zone.

The Monster Squad was my favorite movie as a kid, and I have refused to watch it as an adult, lest it spoil my fond memories.

I don't think there are a lack of hockey fans in Florida, I think there are a lack of Lightning fans. If you go into the closet of those Canadians who have moved to Tampa, you will likely find an old Doug Gilmour jersey.

If Tampa brings the Cup, on top of the one they did not earn back in 2004, to their fanbase of approximately 100 people, it will be proof that either there is no God or if He does exist, He certainly hates hockey.

I only like this movie for purely nostalgic reasons. Sure, it's not very good, but it does take me back to watching it in college with my friends. The girls LOVED this movie and got really pissed when we made fun of it. My current enjoyment of the movie really has nothing to do with the movie itself…

I agree with you on the rise of hip hop, which paralleled the rise of American indie and the punk scene, was the big game-changer. And one of the reason is because those white college kids bought a bunch of hip hop albums, so the "tastemaker" thing still sort of works. I feel like if you went to college in the 90s,

Two things, from different sources…

I, too, blame the country music audience, just on general principle.

CORRECT!

Challengers by the New Pornographers. It's like clip art from hell.

I do hate Roman Polanski and refuse to watch his movies. I'm waiting for him to die so I can re-watch Chinatown.

As a liberal Catholic myself (Hey! Me 'n Colbert!), I literally have no idea what you're talking about. The only problem that liberals have with the Catholic Church that I'm aware of is when the Church raped a bunch of kids and then covered it up. Which sorta angered everybody, including Catholics.

I think it's pretty clear the article's thesis is that the change in the directors listed after going Hollywood is universally negative.Really, the article was a thinly veiled attack on superhero films which… ok. I get it, but it's kind of a cliched and boring line of attack.

I'm waiting for it to turn out that Doug Ramsey buys hookers on a line of credit.

I'm sure it is a complete and total coincidence that the state trooper the church elders directed Josh to confess to just HAPPENED to be into kiddie porn.

I must reluctantly agree with you about Dora. The show is irritating, but it is interactive and gets the Lil Poseur to think about solving problems. It's not my favorite, but it doesn't deserve the awful rap it gets.

I'm a bit of an expert on bacon.
