It's a little more of a nuanced choice when you consider that Affleck hasn't spoken to (or of) Smith in many years.

If Long Walk Home doesn't put a lump in your throat and make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, you might not be breathing.
Where can I acquire one of these obsessive-compulsive crescendo machines?
Turturro puttering around his apartment at the end was the best and most profound acting in the entire series.
Of course he's more than a human garbage disposal. He's also a douche.
Unsatisfying? What, did you want Naz to get shanked on her way out of Rikers. Did you want Stone to chuck it all and move to Barbados? At the end of the episode, pretty much every character ended up where they started, albeit with some marks from the situation they just went through. That's pretty much what life is.…
And Dr. Katz isn't as animated as I remember him …
I bought (and am buying) the theory that Box gave him the inhaler to get his trust to ease him into a confession. And didn't the defense's pathologist find some blood on the back porch? Whatever happened to that? It's gotten to be very difficult to root for Naz, which I realize is exactly the point in that the concept…
I think it's safe to say he will be playing a BASTARD!
In a way, I admire the people who have stuck with this show. I made it about 5 episodes into Season 1.
Watching The Day After had a chilling effect on everyone who saw it. Why do I think that it's only served to warm up Paige's interest in joining The Center?
Melanie Lynskey, I think I'll miss you most of all.
Dang. Just as they are putting together something resembling a plot, they get canceled. I kid because I love.
If only they had some ham hoovering blow in every single scene. That's the key. That, or showing The Rock's ass.
There comes a point in nearly every episode where I cry just a little. This one was no exception. On the surface, Barry having his friends over to confront them was a nice little goofy character moment. But when he talked about them all having dreams and he not, it just got me. So well done. Every time.
This week on Vinyl: A (Not at all) Beautiful Mind
Even if this show totally sucked … which it totally does not .. it would be worth watching for the acting clinic that Amanda Peet (not Amanda Pays, she's on The Flash, sometimes) puts on every episode. Although his motives or methods aren;t always unimpeachable (ha ha), Frank has a charm that Claire utterly lacks.
This season is a digital page-turner, but I am out on any scenario that ends up with Claire as POTUS.
Loved this episode. Real tears, as they say. But "passing on revenge sex with the hot ex" seemed like a trope-ish plot point. And isn't Brett too much of a mopey wet blanket to get a live wire like Kennedy? Seems like a mismatch.
