Late Night Roll Call (Russia Week on Colbert! Seth is back!)
Jimmy Fallon: trippin Queen Latifah, Kyle Mooney*, Portugal. The Man
Stephen Colbert (Russia Week): Al Gore, Issa Rae, Sufjan Stevens, Nico Muhly, and Bryce Dessner & James McAlister
Jimmy Kimmel: Billy Crystal**, Chris Bianco, and Casey James Salengo
Seth Meyers

I post it here in WOT three to four times a week, each time the following week. The commentary is only for the NBC Thursday lineup, but the ratings summary always includes what was on the other networks.

It's also a lot like that episode of Amadeus3002's life when he watched a movie version of The Secret Garden and then took a test on it… and BOMBED.

It's a lot better than it should be. It also benefits from having Alex actually learn something instead playing middle of the road.

Forget the "A.I." clue… Arrested Development as the top show of a season?!

9PM tonight: Game of Thrones vs Twin Peaks vs Candy Crush. 2017 is weird.

I didn't jot down all the individual titles because of time, but I did note movies vs specials and of course timeslot. There's absolutely no regularity in the first season. The Sunday Mystery Movie airs every few weeks but often aired instead of The Big Event. It's one of the must frustrating things to look at.

Once upon a time, I would have disagreed. But these recent years with SNL's takover, some good comedy performances have been bumped, so something should be done. Then again, _more_ performance categories sounds like an unpopular direction for the Academy to pursue.

I have a plan for my Thursday stuff, even if it's getting more and more ambitious, but the standalone series recaps I've done… I have no idea what to do with those.

Late Night at the Emmys
The Emmy nods were announced Thursday morning. After six years, Fallon’s show isn’t vying for the top prize. He and Comedian in Cars were booted for Samantha Bee and Stephen Colbert. SNL’s nod brings its current streak to 10 — but it hasn’t won since 1993. Once again, The Daily Show (proper)

The finale two episodes of Playing House! I don’t want to say goodbye.

I'd like to think the main reason of my continued presence on the television subreddit is to bring up pre-'90s TV because, minus The Twilight Zone and a couple '70s programs, most everything goes unmentioned unless specifically requested.

I think I admire Bob & Ray more than I enjoy Bob & Ray. In the 2010s, plenty of the humor is pretty dated if you have a wide comedy palette.

Semi-related to the question at hand… If anyone missed it, Matt Zoller Seitz had a wonderful Twitter rant earlier today. I'd like to think it's not _that_ relevant to people here, since this community is pretty well-versed in classic entertainment. The tirade came because of those who don't step outside their small

Old radio shows. Since watching Our Miss Brooks earlier this year (and that PBS doc on Welles' War of the Worlds a couple years ago), it sparked my interest. I've spent some time listening to episodes of Our Miss Brooks, The Lone Ranger, The Jack Benny Show, Life of Riley, Gunsmoke, and My Favorite Husband, among

I was rooting for Sara-Jane simply because the name reminds me of my favorite Doctor Who companion. I'd do the same for a Zoe, Victoria, Leela, Martha, or Jamie.

Emmys nods in the morning! Categories recognizing everything from acting, writing and directing to stunts, title design, and lighting. Title design and main theme music are my favs.

More Judy Reyes, Niecy Nash, and Carrie Preston? Thank you, TNT.
