RIP Teague. You lived not giving a fuck, and then you gave a fuck, and it killed you.
I don't like Vaughn. Never been keen on watching him. There's just something skeezy about him. When he was cast, I was downhearted. When I heard he was playing a crook going legit, I thought he might be able to do it. That the show could run with that skeeziness.
It may just be standard procedure.
All I can see is a role Kevin Spacey was too busy to play, so they got someone in to do a decent Kevin Spacey impression.
That Mayor has a future in Kevin Spacey impersonation.
My thinking is that it's to do with John Clare's presence - her realising that he too has been brought back to life by Victor, to live suffering as an outcome of Victor's experiments. I think it was a combination of her own rage from her Brona life and her resurrection at Victor's fancy, combined with a sudden, penny…
I think because most of the big and clever lines last season went to Rust, of whom Pizzolatto obviously approved, there's an idea that any 'clever' line is Nic trying to put a Cholism (or indeed Pizzolattism, [or Liggotism etc]) into someone else's mouth, and so one he'd be equally proud of.
I liked it. I'm going to have to rewatch, for sure.
Eh? I recently tested at 93% herto, and am quite able to watch Penny Dreadful and Game of Thrones.
Oh yeah, I have my reservations. The recent reports that Pizzolatto has dropped the 'occult' angle, and that Fukuyama isn't onboard to direct, and that their won't be a single director's vision overseeing things - these are what make me hesitate.
"Pizzolatto asks, “Do you really just want to see two stars riding around in a car talking?” Does he really not understand what drew people to season one?"
My thoughts exactly. I've thought of it as a great debut album that seemingly comes out of nowhere. The follow up is fucked either way - more of the same doesn't have the impact of the out-of-nowhereness, and something different will likely be considered a failure, that the artist(s) should have stuck with what made…
Finally, after all the sex and death and deathsex, a sexdeath.
I don't think she does know.
Oh, good catch. If he's been properly resurrected, and isn't just patched up, then yeah, he's free to be the undead leader.
From the way Melisandre was eyeing him up and trying to get his interest, I assume Snow has some royalty in his background. She can definitely do smoke babies - time to see if she can do resurrection, too.
Pycelle was too busy copping an eyeful. "It's the queen! In the nip! And covered in filth!"
Re Myrcella - I was expecting a call for help, Bronn and Dorne prince come down, Bronn says that happened to me - it's poison and there's an antidote, Dorne prince confirms and they turn the boat around. Cut to Oberyn's missus, who vocalises that, come to think of it, it would be pretty obvious what and who the cause…
I was hoping Sansa would switch from Thelma and Louise to Bourne Identity.
