Ed Norton was a great Bruce Banner. Mark Ruffalo I'll concede some bonus points for actually portraying the Hulk as well ('puny god' ofc) but they haven't really given him much to do so far. Looks like in Age of Ultron he'll get some more screen time, but for now Norton is the better Banner imo.

Could just be a lot of envious DC fans.

Depending on your definition I think science fantasy is coming back around (and never really left). You could argue the 'gritty realism' fantasy popularized by Game of Thrones is in fact science fantasy. Magic and fantasy creatures are uncommon, if not rare, and the world surrounding those fantasy elements tries to be

The format shift worked OK. Showing Dick van Dyke off someone in the first 5 minutes was Columbo's clever way of getting around the 'Guest Star Spoiler' and it worked here for Alicia Witt. But the villain felt like she was ripped out of, let's go with a 'less sophisticated' show. Her matter of fact slayings were

One of the best arrests ever seen on the show I have to say. I think I may have said out loud 'wait is that the guy right across the street?' experiencing it basically the same as Marcus did. It was fun to see Bell and Holmes in a less formal circumstance and Lucy Liu must have loved getting Watson to do a wake up

Most recent Marvel article I could find.. which is wrong because it should be an article about Spider-Man joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe http://www.msn.com/en-us/mo…

Yea that final scene completely changed my thoughts on the episode, Up till the hemlock I was worried they were trying to set up some sort of 'Watson's true love is Sherlock' thing. With Andrew being literally sacrificed on the altar of status quo I remain impressed by Elementary's ability to surprise me while being

Definitely misread it as 'Stallone'

No codes or mysteries? In the very next sentence he says he won't announce it on a holiday! I recommend someone compile a list of any all holidays, no matter how obscure, in all nations that speak the various languages the books are published in. Once we can eliminate a definitive list of all days he won't announce we

Haven't really been following the AV Club reviews this season, but it looks like you generally enjoyed this arc as much as I did. I'm sad to see Ophelia Lovibond go. It was more of a slow burn then Natalie Dormer's appearances, but the performance in the past three episodes in particular definitely left an impression.

That scene and the ending (no giant 'S' symbol plastic wrap) are why I usually go with the Donner Cut. I do miss some of the humorous parts that were excised from the scenes with Zod and co. when they first arrive though.

Queuing up 'Live and Let Die' as i type this.

I still remember watching this in my dorm freshman year and the jaw drop when Boomer gets revealed as a Cylon, I didn't get into 'Lost' until the DVD set of Season 1 but I was with BSG from the beginning. I was the insufferable fan who would tell all my friends 'You're all worked up over a hatch opening? Get back to

Finally got into this show and I was pretty iffy on it. The mystery dog killer who's evidently not a figment of Kevin's imagination but not 'real' enough to yknow get arrested for killing the dogs was a sore point for me. The Reverend Matt episode won me over though, despite Doctor Who's pretty terrible fake American

What this song is missing is an equivalent to Bono snarling 'tonight thank god it's them instead of you' to really drive the shame home.

Thanks for contributing to afternoons with my grandpop watching a block of the Rockford Files and Columbo.

I pictured a comically over-sized hook taking a man in a checker shirt and bow-tie off stage just now.

I cracked up at the the green check mark for the leather jacket vs the big red X for the spandex with the large 'curves'

I was about to say that, other than the tollbooth hardly anything syncs up. And then half way through we start seeing palm trees and the GTA version of the Hollywood sign.
