I think it's about the Hosts gaining sentience. But, I agree that as it stands the writers played into having anything inexplicable be part of Ford's plan a little too strongly. But, I understand that issue and am okay with it, especially when you have Anthony Hopkins on hand.

Tinfoil hat time: Tessa Thompson mentioned something about how the side project of the park was about knowing yourself. Maybe Ford can use the data to predict behavior, and he made sure Maeve was sent to the techs most likely to help her/? I know it's a little psychohistory, but that's my first guess.

It was also featured pretty prominently in Stargate: SG1.

Yeah. The story of the Saxon Chronicles(which The Last Kingdom is based on) begins with Ragnar's sons invading England. The show glosses over it, but the books feature a battle that judging from the trailer we are going to see this season.

Agreed. The Life and Death Brigade always seemed like the set up of a joke, but then we never got the punchline.

Marty! Never forget.

Maybe Dave Rygalski was the Wookie.

Wait. Lane is based off of a real person? Woah, I wonder what that person thinks of ASP these days, given how terrible a friend Rory often was to Lane.

The same thing is sort of true of Lorelei. If you rewatch the show it almost seems like she is the only eligible women in Stars Hallow. All of the reoccurring female characters tend to be older and painfully eccentric.

I mean. I'd much rather watch Archie crossed with Twin Peaks then Archie crossed with Gossip Girl.

I mean. TFA was purposely imitating ANH. I feel like we should wait to see how the next movie is before we declare Star Wars dead. If it mirrors TESB then it is.

it's been forgotten because it was on the WB, which has vanished into the mists of history. Seriously, no one remembers that network.

No, it does. Jimmy mentioned earlier in the episode that the various ride services banned him because he called multiple cars at one time to get them to compete on pricing.

Hell, Lyndon Johnson apparently exposed himself to people during meetings. Power does funny things to people.

I think anyone can shut them down down as long as they have one of the futuristic ipads.

I mean, I feel like a series based on the crisis of the 3rd century would be great. Or at least one focused on Diocletian and his rise to power.

I agree. It was nice to see the chickens come home to roost with her misunderstanding of what prenups are.

Velocirapstr. I just wanted to let you know that I've been following your posts as a lurker for the last six months. But, I wanted to make an account tonight to let you know that I appreciated these posts. You have been an amazing source of information over the last year, and I'm so sorry that it ended this way.
