It's one of the special features on my DVD of this movie :-)

Agreed - in a way I'm glad that they "accidentally" leaked the pilot. It['s almost as if they wanted to gauge the fans' reactions…

The writer of this episode, Frank Cottrell-Boyce, has some commendable experience with novels and screenplays (as well as writing much of the 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony directed by his collaborator Dany Boyle). I have a feeling that a lot of Cottrell-Boyce's original story had been chopped out to make room for the

Cabinet Office Briefing Room A, a genuine place and organisation that meets whenever some shit goes down involving the UK.

A shame, really, given that Elf was one of the last decent movies Ferrell made. That and Anchorman. I liked him in The Producers too. But after that?

Depends on how far away she's standing…

F**king A…

I liked Stilt Man too - it was a shame when he got killed. The B- and C-Listers were always more interesting to me: ordinary guys trying their hand at grabbing some cash rather than taking over the world.

They should all pile into a car and go protest outside of FX Studios…

To be honest, the Marvel Rogues Gallery for their various heroes is kind of thin, too, once you get past Thanos, Dr Doom and Magneto: maybe in my old age, many years from now, I'll settle down to watch the Hypno-Hustler, Stilt-Man, the Tumbler, Flag-Smasher, the Melter and Stryfe menace Squirrel Girl… and lose…

Just what I was thinking: the few superpowered individuals in the MCU are already known to the likes of SHIELD. Now, if the movies took the direction where the government was forcibly conscripting them into a Suicide Squad/Freedom Force-style team…

I'm almost sorry that they're aiming towards this storyline. Not that I didn't enjoy reading it, but I can't see how it'll work in the context of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"And he's got a job, delivering unmarked packages to Federal buildings! I bet it has a health plan too!"

True, which shows that Nurture can be as influential as Nature…

"Why can't you be more like your brother? He's at home right now, learning to fly a plane on his computer. At least *one* of my sons is thinking about a future career!"

She switched them at birth so as not to have around living reminders that she lay with the Devil and took his demon seed…

"So, young man, you have time to run around in the desert chopping off heads but you don't have time to call your mother and tell her you're still alive?"

Maybe it's my age, but when I saw the costume, I thought of the one they used in Trial of the Incredible Hulk (1989), the first backdoor pilot for the Man Without Fear. Actually, it's pretty much identical.

I want to keep watching this, but having seen Broadchurch already I'm wondering what's the point. The initial novelty of hearing Tennant's American accent faded quickly.

Never said there weren't good movies, only that they'd be in the minority.
Studio Ghibli Rocks :-)
