I admit that Hannibal is a bizarre exception. Its ratings are in the toilet, but the network keeps it on because it's classy and gets critical acclaim and brand name recognition.

How can this show possibly survive on one of the Big Three (instead of, say, HBO) and still remain faithful to the source material? It's like asking your grandmother's church theatre group to adapt A Clockwork Orange for the stage - they'll do it, but you just know it will end up a musical about a naughty

I don't like faeries… they're SPOOKY…

I wonder if editors are still getting sci-fi stories where the "twist" is that the astronaut has landed on Earth. That trope was old when Asimov was young.

Who says it has to end the way it did in the original series, with Heston blowing up the world? The apes in the first series took over in 1991 after being enslaved by humans following a space plague that wiped out dogs and cats (I don't remember that in 1991. Criswell Predicts that this Event will be even better than the original animated series:

Hey, people watch those. Fuck knows why. Though I suspect Idol will be dropped soon, its ratings for the last season were apparently down the toilet.

Fox gets a lot of flak for cancelling beloved cult shows like Almost Human, but in its defense, it will cancel crap like this just as easily…

I can't watch the trailer, so someone tell me if she's clumsy. If she is, then I'll win Rom-Com Cliche Bingo.

I'd sleep with you for coming up with that joke.
I'll let you decide if that would be a reward or a punishment.

Well, I'm sure it'll be just as successful as that TV show that was on for twelve minutes one day on SyFy.

Good point. We should just assume someone turned on the camera and ran away.

Movies like this exist for the benefit of tweens who go not to watch a movie but to sit with their friends texting each other and maybe getting love bites on their necks. They can tune in and out, and occasionally play Movie Reference Bingo by guessing what scenes are being referenced (not parodied, because that would

They put no effort into the actual script, why expect any for the title?
