Tidbit of trivia. The original opening credits sequence of Married With Children was actually unused overhead footage filmed for the original Vacation. Take a look and you will see the Family Truckster.

Indeed. Hall was signed on for Weird Science and couldn't do it.

The reasoning, originally, for changing the kids in European Vacation is due to Anthony Michael Hall being committed to Weird Science, thus being unavailable. This led to the decision to recast both kids.

Well…if she was exiting middle school or in High School when the American Idiot Musical hit then this isn't true either. The Musical hit in 2009. American Idiot hit in 2004 and charted singles for a couple of years after. She was of prime age during this, as was everyone else around her.
Just a B.S. claim on her part.

I haven't seen or heard the band make reference to being "punk" in around 20 years. That seems to be a fan thing at this point. An absolutely fantastic game.

I will likely spend some time with The Witcher 3 this weekend. I only recently upgraded to a PS4 and this made the expense worth it. I imagine this game will take up much of my entire year. It is Skyrim meets Game of Thrones… MASSIVE on all levels… The writing is top notch and even the side quests pull you in.

The narrative is that they existed in an a bubble and created something unlikely in the area. But that is anything but the reality of this period.

SHADOWS OF THE EMPIRE was the comic between Empire and Jedi. It was actually a comic strip/novel/video game combination, all focusing on different aspects of the search for Han Solo.

I was wondering the same thing. I know that a handful of the Robot Chicken guys were heavily involved with making MAD.

"all casual observers really need to know is that today is a celebration of greasy middle-aged men, a dance that kind of looks like you’re turning bike pedals with your arms, and the complete absurdity that was the record industry in the late ’90s. "
