That album is still so good.

When people think Norm's just "snide asshole guy" I get a sense they haven't watched anything he's done in, say, a decade.

Yeah, anyone who's seen Norm Macdonald Live or heard his WTF interview know that Norm can be genuine and interested in others.

I admired, but never really enjoyed Tune-Yards up to this point. But this album, man, this album is doing it for me in a major way.

Calling Norm Macdonald a bad impressionist is bizarre. Seriously, aside from the big ones that he was rightly praised for, there were shockingly did on impressions of Andy Rooney, Quentin Tarantino and Slim Pickens.

Nailed it. I've been in and out for most of my life, but when pro wrestling is good (which is so rare) it can really be the best.

Yeah, Morrison was maybe the best lyricist in the world on the run of Emergency & I and Change (I actually prefer change). His solo stuff is obviously not as good because nothing is as good, but I will really vouch for All Y'All. That album is super interesting with lots of cool, daring musical touches. Honestly, it's

Dude, Daniel Bryan and The Shield are pretty sweet.

OK, first, The Get Up Kids have a few pretty decent songs. Second, you are waaaay off on Pinkerton. For me, it's the fact that the album hits like "In Utero" but is strange and sloppy like "Wowee Zowee." The fact that it got linked with emo was just a fluke.

The Red Album is half surprisingly decent ("Angel And The One" does not get nearly enough love"), but when it's bad, there really isn't anything else that has ever been that bad.

"Buddy Holly" has actually aged really gracefully to me. It's just a damn great pop song with a cool bridge and a killer solo. Of course, "Say It Ain't So" will always have my heart. If I have to ding one song (and I don't want to do that) it would have to be "Undone"

Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed that.

I like Quinn. He really is one of the great comedians and I always thought his Weekend Update was very well-written, but yeah, his delivery was all kinds of wrong for the role and it just wasn't a great fit. But I'd rather something being interesting, but wrong than something that merely exists. Jost is incredibly

I think MASH holds up incredibly well. His 70s output is his best. MASH is probably a safe start as it gives you the Altman aesthetic while still maintaining a sense of fun. McCabe, Nashville and 3 Women are all better movies, but they take some work.

I am Team The Cop Guy Who's Now on New Girl, I Think.

I liked Horrible Bosses.

Nothing's wrong with A Wedding. It's a great comedy.

For whatever reason, this is my favorite movie of all time.

My big Canadian punk label of choice was Smallman - Choke, Moneen, late-era Propagandhi.

I think it's the over-the-top studio sheen that makes the album work for me. They're like the Boston of pop punk. Seriously, Blink were a shit band in terms of performance, but the high gloss of their studio albums actually really works for me.
