I don't think it's as much assuming the worst of Connor as much as Oliver knew who Connor was when they met (the arrogant playboy) and expected him to react a little more angrily to a breakup because breakups hurt and some people crumple but others—like he expected Connor to be—lash out.

About what, that he was engaged to a woman he loved but who went ballistic when she found out he at least once slept with a man? That's not a scandal, that's youthful experimentation or bisexuality.

The thing is, now Oliver can control how much he's going to see Connor much better. Since he's not his boyfriend, it's a lot easier for Oliver to peter things out if he needs, and there would be less pressure there to go out.

I dunno, I find it purposefully hypocritical, but at the same time someone who does bad things can feel bad for things too.

I don't agree at all that it's pointless for Connor to tell Oliver the truth of the racist asshole. Ollie wants to be friends with Connor so bad, and Connor seems tentatively open to it, but letting Oliver think he's a childish jerk will do nothing for their friendship or relationship. Telling the truth could have

ARTCRAWL!

Rodriguez is a cutie, but his character was such a jerk that I almost hope he was just a guest star. Ugh.

No, I totally agree. The time-skips gave us some nice character beats but also robbed us of potential plotlines (including stuff we needed to know, like Alba's green card), and man I'm seriously sick of Rafael to be totally honest. Michael loses his temper once and he's off the boat, but Rafael can throw fits

You can also get STDs from non-sexual things though. Birth, if your parents had something; needles; blood exposure; even a kiss. Plus there are risks in everything in life, and the show emphasizes that even taking precautions sometimes things simply happen.

Except we never actually learn it's a front. He never says that it is, never once admits it—he only ever says he wants Michaela.

It's not the reason their engagement ended, but Aiden himself kept insisting he loved Michaela during the entire incident. Michaela assumed she was his beard, but he never did anything besides say he wanted to be with her—the only information we get from him about his own sexuality is that he tried being with guys but

And then it turns out the non-sexually-promiscuous character was the one with HIV. That's not the point here.

You know there are these things called condoms, right?

For being such a progressive show with a queer Black lady lead, I'm STILL baffled that the series continues to insist Aiden was secretly gay all along. Annalise is literally bisexual or pansexual (seemingly) and yet they're insistent on pidgeonholing a man that's had sex with a man as gay. They even had the witness's

Nothing wrong with sex parties or one night stands as long as it's all consensual. That's the point of sex positivity.
