It ran on CBS here for the first two (David Marciano as Ray) years, and went into syndication for the Callum Keith Rennie season. It wasn't a big hit, but it had a strong fan following. (It still drives a lot of fan fiction activity.)

There were a lot of political figures (characters named after former Canadian prime ministers Mackenzie King and Lester Pearson, FBI agents named after US politicians, etc.) Stanley Kowalski was the lead character in Streetcar Named Desire married to a character named Stella, and Due South's Kowalski had an ex-wife…
Shore was involved with Due South, which was heavy on the jokey, celebrity referential names also. (Naming season 3 Ray "Stanley Kowalski" for example.)
that oral history video was just lovely…a great way to remember Nimoy.
Howard's bereavement was handled especially poorly. I hope they give the character some better moments as the season goes on.
"Annie Lennox proved to me that she can show me the back of her balls"
With this phrase RC has lost me for life. Blech.
not a top shelf episode, but I liked the way Sherlock engaged with Watson. He showed his humanity while still being Holmsian in manner.
The reason Jess' sister didn't attend the wedding? I'm guessing prison…
some of the funniest dialog of the season in this episode
The bell does not turn into witches. It doesn't even turn people into witches. It activates the dormant witch inside people with a witch bloodline. It would have been much more interesting if the bell had turned into witches, however.
A side note—one of the things I hated about "Lost" was the violin shriek that ended…
Yes! Thank you.
Saw it, don't care about Kanye, the Lovitz joke fell flat. Most of what I saw on the SNL special fell flat.
FOX had its own SNL thing going on tonight, between Molly Shannon here and Andy Samburg on B99. I found this much more rewarding than the big 40 hullaballoo.
a couple of observations:
Brian George's performance as Andrew's father was brief but had such depth. Last week's happiness gave way to grief. He was wonderful.
I got a different take away regarding Watson—it seemed to me that her grief and guilt were guiding her decision to move back with Holmes—-that she was…
Blair Brown!
best of luck to you both
Cece laying her face on the toilet seat grossed me out BADLY
less dreamy, I admit
Thanks for mentioning Life, but were you talking about the pairing or Damian Lewis and Sarah Shahi, or Lewis and Adam Arkin (because obviously, Christina Hendricks was simply a sublimation of his red-headed affections.)
Crane explained to Jefferson that the hard hat guys were just the beginning of a construction project that would open up the whole area. They destroyed it because it could not be sealed permanently——the population growth and urban sprawl of the 21st century ensured that it would be found again.
