They could have controlled for the arrival of the husband, but they did not. It seemed obvious to me that this was intended to be a hit, pure and simple. No additional surveillance, no clean-up (that we could see). The mission could have been intended to be a test of Philip's allegiance, which he clearly failed. Not

Thank you for picking up on the subtext that I was trying to get at. There has been a sense of stalling in the show's momentum and it has been intentional, and I think it is necessary to tell a more authentic story.

Who wrote Tim's diary?

Great review this week. Another twist of the knife for the operatives. They used to carry out their missions with pride (well, half of them did). Now they are chasing after an old woman 40 years after the fact…. This nonsense is obviously busy work, and it's a sign that either your days are numbered or massive layoffs

I'm afraid getting Pastor "Dollar" Tim another gig isn't going to be enough to make the operatives comfortable with his claims of abuse. Those accusations are just too volatile to let them fester unchecked. I am thinking that the diary is going to disappear, the lawyers' office is going to be ransacked or burnt to the

Yeah, this one bugged me.

What is an Emmy Award?

If you think this episode was supposed to be riveting, then I think you missed the point of it. It was intentionally a simmerer, a calm before the storm. In fact you might even call it a navel-gazer. "You guys should be here more"… is that what Tuan said?

We got a lot of answers to some lingering questions last week. This episode served as a necessary self-induced vacation for P&E, and it was clearly racking up the balls again, so to speak. There can be a fine line between compelling and boring. I think the former is still the right description. I personally think it

An important detail for sure.

Yes, nice job summarized what wasn't spelled out. Anyway, have a cookie.

Interesting. I found this episode to be the best one so far.

Which makes me think that the whole point of acquiring the plant was simply to make P&E feel better.

First things first: Great job filling in for Erik, Dennis. I think the participants here are very fortunate to have you as such capable reviewers of this great show.

Also, Kelly AuCoin is a semi-regular in both shows. His work as these two very different characters is pretty awesome.

We found out in the next episode that it was a no show meeting.

Agreed on the last bit. This was an episode about blind spots and we saw quite a few epiphanies come to light.

Gaad made it into an episode of Billions this season as a Warren Buffet clone. So he gets added onto the list along with Noah Emmerich and Susan Misner who have been in both shows.

I was't sure if it was that, or if he was there for a meet (or recon) but no one showed.

I liked that fact of them giving us at least a little bit of closure on Martha. Showing us that she was still alive and apparently "living a normal life" was simply a way of telling "us" that "they" aren't completely evil.
