The trailer for the movie was once voted as one the best trailers of all time at IFC, since the entire thing is Fiennes pitching to the audience.
I love that line by the character Macy played by Angela Bassett of how memories were meant to fade since they were designed that way. Such a good line IMO.
That's a fair point, but I feel like if you remember its a neo noir film first and social commentary on a subtext level, it works.
