It actually does have some of the strongest percentage gains for DVR, not that it particularly matters since it probably gives the show an extra 0.1 or so in C+3 at most. Like you said, Forever isn't completely crashing in the slot and ABC has other slots to fix/promote new shows for midseason.

So what's the shipper name for Watson and Kitty? Witty?

Probably the most shocking part of the S1 finale was when Clarke woke up with her hair washed for the first time in forever.

This is what I thought too, but then I wondered why don't the reapers just eat the mountain men that they capture right away? Unless the mountain men somehow make the bodies more palatable or are otherwise controlling the reapers, but it seems like the reapers don't have especially high patience.

Eliza Coupe killed every line delivery and sold every awkward encounter. But I was hoping Nina would take a job at a car dealership.

Wonderful episode. Lucy Liu was flawless like always, and the writers did a great job on making this Joan's episode.

I was convinced Nyssa was going to die in this episode, especially when she insisted on killing Merlyn. I'm so relieved we get even more Katrina Law in the future!

Caitlin and Cisco appear in Season 2 Episode 19, "The Man Under the Hood."

Before I saw this I was going to post something along the lines of "TO ALL MY FELLOW HAPPY ENDINGS FANS/COMMISERATORS", but I see you beat me to it with the link.

I think this arc convinced me that the writers don't have a strong enough grip on Elsbeth to keep her around permanently, be it in a spinoff (which would never happen with the ratings woes of The Good Wife) or as a regular on a final season seven.

Since Supernatural has gotten incredibly repetitive and stale since Season 6, this actually felt like a decent replacement assuming they fix the issues with the pilot. Dumping Liv in favor or Zed this soon is already a positive sign.

I have to say I was particularly impressed with Season One's finale and the show's willingness to change the status quo. One question though: what happened to Dichen Lachman's Anya? She survived with the 48 as far as I could tell.

What I really wanted was Drunk Laurel with a Bat to go around vigilanting, but this will have to do.

We also got a glimpse on how Laurel will fit into the Arrow Cave team. I thought her frustration at watching Oliver try to defeat Komodo was realistic, and it was only further compounded by Captain Lance and Oliver later more or less telling her "Go home and let the men take care of it." Laurel had to do SOMETHING and

There was a main season-long arc about her sister's murder that ultimately got dropped. Unusually though, the reboot was much better because it had fun, interesting cases of the week: bank robberies, political assassination threats, drug rings, kidnappings, fraud, even an episode about a secret treasure map and the

This episode was pretty slow due to the amount of set-up, but I think there are some great stories here:
The author of the book, meaning we get more Giancarlo Esposito working with Regina
Rumple's Fantasia hat because wtf even is that?
Anna's journey, the parents' secret, and what happened to Anna
The still unanswered

While I agree that reason doesn't hold water, doesn't it make sense that Harvey's excuse is lame? He just didn't want Jim to investigate further and came up with the best thing he could. I would say it would be bad writing if Harvey just magically came up with a perfect cover-story for once Jim started asking

People, it's okay. The AV Club just wants to let OUAT exit with dignity after getting its first A- in forever for the Season 3 finale.

Maybe Kalinda and Alicia will even be forced to physically be in a scene together!
