Hollywood people have no conception of geography that is outside of LA or NYC. My pet peeve is Pete on Crashing (who is supposed to be from some Westchester town) calling that town "upstate".
I sort of only skimmed it (though it seemed like a good story). Yeah, he basically held out against them, for awhile anyway, by just being a super badass. Also, Thor didn't really want to bother taking him in and Wolverine was on his side.
Rucka did write a whole run about the Avengers going after the Punisher.
I thought it was the best line in the episode because it was actually meant to be funny. A lot of the other dialogue is unintentionally so. I like this show but … man, the dialogue.

This was probably one of the 2 best episodes of the season. What really worked is that they kept the pace going.
