Cool! Any Harmon fans who didn't check out that @midnight episode should… if only for the unexpected 'my penis is like a clown…' runner at the beginning.

Abed's 'Flashback' wherein he & the Dean do that jig and sing about stronger straps made me giggle more than anything on this show in a while…
I know Harmon said he was leaving it wide open and not doing any kind of finale, but I'm not sure how realistic it is at this point. I'd be curious to see any more recent statements, or also to know how it's been doing against Yahoo's expectations.
Just came here - mid-episode, no less - to day that Tarantino's segment, is the segment in Four Rooms, and that Abed's evocation of Rodriguez's doesn't even really make sense to me… It just feels like a forced obscure reference.
Maybe! I think Rachel was in that article too. And Ben Feldman was very coy, refusing to discuss anything that may or may not happen, so he at least wanted to leave the impression that Ginsberg may return…
Seconded, and it reminds me: Did that chronological re-edit ever materialize? Hopefully they learned from their mistakes with Season 4, which I actually quite enjoyed despite it's flaws.
17 is an unusual and oddly specific number to break the news with.
I'm almost certainly wrong, but I thought Peggy was talking to someone with a very Ginsberg-ian sleeve in that one brief clip! Anyways, I really think we'll see him again, though it's doubtful he'd be back in the office… (I still like scrutinizing those clips for hints that aren't really there.)
Hmm, This is an interesting point.
Well, considering she already left without him, I'm thinking the pact is old news. I don't think we've even seen them interact much since then…
I couldn't believe how fucking pompous Chuck was. Once I surmised it was he and not Hamlin blocking Saul, I actually thought maybe it was because he wanted his little brother to make it on his own and not in his shadow or some such thing…
The online ads I've seen for this seem to totally be aping the style of Inherent Vice's poster/promotional campaign. Is that intentional?
The Leeds version is on the soundtrack, but the Circus version is actually heard in the film. So… Yeah.
How about an odd couple type of show, where Ginsberg gets out of whatever institution they threw him in and moves in with Rizzo? …I'm lacking for a catchy title, but I'm pretty sure you could make at least thirteen decent half hours out of that.
I'm with you. "AV Club writer crafts headline to make nondescript film project seem more interesting…"
I just meant fans of those guys, but that's interesting… they must have a very tiny and irritated fan-base over there, then. (I mean, something must have made it's way there, right? Like maybe a few dozen people saw They Came Together or The Ten and worked backwards… illegally.) It's niche enough in the states, but I…
I think you're probably highly under-estimating people's ability to view things they may be interested in nowadays. I personally don't really see this as having any audience whatsoever outside of existing Stella/State fans, though the now-marquee names will certainly bring in some very confused lookie-loos….
Eh, basically, men pay for these women to take sedatives which knock them out cold and then they spend the night with them… with the idea being that there are rules and it's mostly just cuddling or whatever, but the woman is completely unconscious. She starts doing this and dramatic stuff happens, etc. etc.
Coverage is basically additional angles or shots of the same scene that are used in editing. First, you have a 'master' which, I believe is traditionally a wide shot, and then you shoot coverage, which may include closeups or simply different setups that you can use in editing to transition between different takes of…
I think it all depends on what they show in the interim. I'm sure a lot of people would tune in to Late Show highlight packages considering it will be fresh in their minds that Dave won't be around anymore. They could even show 'classic' episodes from throughout Letterman's entire CBS run… Also, the Late, Late show…
