Thinking this over the next day, we are definitely seeing their memories - to some extent - and not just what they are telling the investigator… otherwise:

Come to think of it, perhaps it's telling that Noah didn't include that incident in his version of events? It's not like he'd forget the kid taking his daughter upstairs…

Joshua Jackson. Er… Cole?

I somehow missed this last week (catching up earlier today). I'm definitely intrigued, and it's great to see Maura Tierney again.

Undoubtedly. Or a really obscure Cheers one…

Was it supposed to be some kind of call back to that or something else? It just seemed like his shifty eyes revealed that he killed Maggie off-screen and that was the joke… I don't know.

I'm not sure I'd quite give it a B, but there were some nice little bits, like Martin holding a copy of Naked Lunch (presumably for an autograph?) early on and Schmoo as a substitute for a phallus during the Kubrick segment…

I didn't think it was possible I could like Carrie Coon any more after watching The Leftovers, and then here she is as a levelheaded, bespectacled bartender. I know she's primarily been a stage actress, with only a handful of throw-away, guest-staring roles on network dramas, but I really hope we see a lot more of her.

It was wonderful to see the eternally underused and undervalued Jay Johnston show up as the doorbell repairman.

Back to The Future 2, you Asshole!

So right about comedy sequels… I'm struggling to even think of any good ones, although I did just get off work and my brain is a bit fried.

"They used to be simple. Oh c'mon, I know you know what I'm talking about: Legos were simple? Something happened out here while I was inside… Harry Potter Legos, Star Wars Legos, complicated kits, tiny little blocks. I mean, I'm not saying it's bad, I just wanna know what happened."

Same! Midnite Vultures is, was, and always will be a masterpiece to my ears… I kinda draw a line in the sand after it, though. Sea Change is his best work to some, but it's almost, not quite, where he began repeating himself. Most of his albums thereafter - with the exception of Modern Guilt, I suppose - are "Sorta

I'll probably always check out whatever Beck releases, but I'm not nearly as excited as I once was. I wish I could agree with you on the sentiment in the post past simply typing his name.

Every time I see Ellie Kemper, I am reminded of a small bit in the "Cafe Disco" episode of The Office where she begins to dance with Michael and says "Now I do got it!" …I'm not sure why exactly (something about how sincerely awkward it was, maybe) or if anyone else even remembers this, but for whatever reason that

I guess there aren't many Dylan fans here (or maybe it just seemed too obvious?), but as I worked my way through his back catalog I left no stone un-turned; I dutifully pick up each new release and will as long as I live (it isn't likely he'll outlive me, but the ongoing Bootleg Series just might…)

That photo looks like… Jim Broadbent in the middle of getting his makeup on to play The Leader or something…

That's too much… I think you need to table Saw for the moment…

So… I saw he only saw Saw II,
I never saw Saw, and neither did you.

I didn't want to see Saw alone… it didn't seem like it'd be as much fun that way….
