Yeah, I have seen this theory elsewhere and the idea that the GR would somehow predate the rapture is very interesting to me… Also, supposedly the person who put a grenade in Nora's hand back in Guest was supposed to be a NYC GR member which I didn't even remotely pick up on.

I thought the interesting thing was that he wasn't sure. He was skeptical of his supposed abilities himself. I'm hoping this show doesn't end up overtly supernatural, as I fear it might. The smile on his face in that scene was so intense and awesome.

That's a very interesting angle to look at it from. Not sure I'm on board with this interpretation, but I never would've seen that connection.

(Oh. Okay. It was actually a more obscure Al Green song called Dream used within the episode, but one that sounds much like his take on The Bee Gees… so I literally had no concept of what you were trying to say there.)

… Al Green asking about Sewing?!?

"My heart and my mind and my balls, son, the holy fucking trinity…"

Are we to assume Tommy left a note of some kind? Or were they all just really happy to see an abandoned multi-racial baby on the porch? I think the ending was only really 'happy' maybe in the context of this particular show.

Yeah. What baffled me at first (and should've telegraphed that it was a dream sequence) was that Matt turned Kevin in after he helped him dispose of a body?!?

She's was annoying as fuck, to be sure, but so hardcore in that scene during the riot. I can easily see her taking over the leadership role of that GR chapter next season.

Wait, wait. I worry what you just heard was give Carrie Coon a lot of Emmys. What I said was give her all the Emmys you have. Do you understand?

(RandomGuy said he hopes Carrie Coon is coming back, and that's who I was refering to…)

I don't see how she wouldn't be around next year… It seems obvious to me she'd be coming back unless you know something I don't.

Listening to the voice-over narration prior to the shot of her packing up I definitely got that impression. Moreover, I think you were supposed to.

"Not deep enough."

Well, I thought the finale was fantastic and that the show ultimately made good on the promise of the early teasers that intrigued me in the first place. I'd gathered what the Guilty Remnant were up to, but not the exact way in which they were going to use the death model decoys… They have a certain almost fine-art

Out of curiosity why did you delete my comment last week? It may be the most innocuous comment deletion of all time.

In Look Who's Talking Too, Kirstie Alley gives birth to a baby with the internal monologue of Roseanne Barr, which is pretty gross, if you ask me. Also, it's supposed to be the offspring of John Travolta and Kirstie Alley… and I recall it was a C-section for some reason? Anyhow, grossness all around.

Thanks for giving people who want to discuss the program this was a review of a ton of nonsense to scroll through. Seriously. You're Aces, Ackley Kid. A Goddamn prince.

I thought Gladys' cameo fit well, her being such a minor character and all. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I wonder how many of her dogs are now roaming the streets and how much that contributed to her joining the GR?

Yeah, I was half-expecting some folks to hate on her performance for some reason, but much agreed, all around.
