Disney did it for the Marvel movies. I guess a lot of people were excited by it but it was literally embarrassing for me to watch, it was so weird and clammy-seeming. You can find the video online but I recommend maybe twenty to thirty seconds as the upper limit for what you want to see to get the gist of it.

I am really dreading how poorly they're going to handle Darkseid. Even Jack didn't know exactly how to work with the character he'd created, since the best angle on him was at an eerie tangent to Superman comics and DC's line at the time and Jack also liked to give readers what they wanted.

I agree with you on that one. I just think that they shouldn't be afraid to tinker with these characters' stories, associates, and so on to deliver the stories about their motivations, which is what matters to all of these characters, who can control minds, teleport, shoot laser blasts from their hands, survive…
