It makes me physically ill - sick to my stomach - to see the lack of nominations for The Americans, also known as The Best Show on Television. Emmy nominators have terrible taste and should be ashamed of themselves.

I thought you were talking about Mel Cooley, except I was pretty sure Richard Deacon was deceased.
I'm thoroughly convinced that Carl Reiner is the most important comedic mind America has ever produced, and that The Dick Van Dyke Show is the best sitcom ever. Watching it nowadays, it seems very clear to me that it is the link between vaudeville sketch comedy and modern character-based comedy. And it is still…
I had the exact same thought. They did refer to him in a "previously on" at some point recently, but haven't dealt with him in an episode yet.
I don't think this was an A episode, despite how amazing the sequence at Hardhome was.
Sorry to be late to this, but I'm binge watching this show on hulu these days. I'm loving the second season so far! Anyway, I just had to mention that Holt's "Hot damn!" at the end of the cold open to this episode is the hardest I laughed at this show so far, and it wasn't even mentioned in this review! …
I find this comment baffling, since IMO Don Draper is the single most compelling character ever created for TV. Right up there with Daniel Plainview in the annals of the moving picture.
Sympathetic is another story. I sympathize with him, but I could see why others would not.
I'M EXCITED.
I don't know what you turds are talking about; that trailer was awesome.
Great job picking episodes, guys! The first four are probably the best episodes of the series ever. I stopped watching the show in the middle of season 7, so I never saw the last episode you mentioned. The only one I would want to add would be "The One With the Cuffs" because the scenes with Chandler locked in…
I was surprised there was no mention at all about the CLUNKIEST PIECE OF EXPOSITION EVER for this show, the explanation of why Cary delivered the cocaine to the lab himself. Maybe that's because it was an actual event in the show, but I certainly didn't remember it, and the way it was revealed to the audience was…
Damn, this episode was like the The Big Lebowski of season 18 so far: Everyone seems to have liked it, but in truth it really wasn't that funny at all. IMO the jokes were all either too easy and predictable, or too random, to be funny. I was honestly expecting a C- before clicking on the episode.
I thought we were…
"The Rat" by The Walkmen. From Bows and Arrows.
Sure, but they still meant what they said in each round. It's clear that overall the AV Club staff felt that "Hitting the Fan" was the best episode of TV last year. And I would agree.
GO SPURS!!!
I've been a San Antonio Spurs fan since 1992, so I'm loving these old guys right now.
Yeah, tried that, didn't work for me either.
What is the point of having the ability to write in answers if we're made to just choose from a predetermined list anyway? I tried to write in Noah Emmerich, The Americans, for "Most Outstanding Performance", and it wouldn't let me submit the form until I changed it to someone who was already listed.
