Well consider the traits they have been slowly introducing in Ward. He has a perfect time sense, (Being able to wake up at 4:30 despite having no reference for what time it is.) quickly adapting to new combat techniques, (Hence why he was only ever beaten by May using improvised tactics.) leadership skills and the

Oh yeah. Gordon seems to only show up right when he needs to, which implies he or another inhuman are watching events. Maybe they are leaving Skye in place because they think that is what's best, but when she get's threatened by the "real" SHIELD, he maybe pop in and take her out of harms way.

I think Skye is going to use her time in the wild to figure out her abilities and when the feces hits the fan, I'm sure she will make a dramatic re-entry to the SHIELD team and prolly save their collective asses.
Ward is looking more and more like he is going to end up being Task Master every time we see him. Agent 33

Oh yeah, I remember her questioning his lack of an "acceptable amount of collateral damage" but I also got the impression that she liked his stance more than Fury's old callous approach to things.
But then again, she may be one of those warrior types that respects strength and sees Coulson as too touchy feely to be in

Well I can see that with Mac. He has shown concern about Couson from the start, but Bobby has been in the mud with Couson and seen who he is, what he does and why. If she thinks Olmos is a better choice to run SHIELD then it has to be for some other reason, because if she said "I don't trust Couson." for a motive I

Actually I have felt the same way about several character that have been in Joss Wedon shows before, but they all developed into characters I loved later. So I donno if it is Chloe Bennet's acting, or another Joss Wedon slow burn, but I am willing to wait it out and see where it goes.

Well Coulson had told the team several times that Fury was the one who put him in charge, plus they know Fury was alive when they took down Garret. I only recall once where Coulson said anything about Fury in from of Bobby and Mac, but the way this small team interacts, I'm sure they are all aware that Fury was alive

Oh no. I loved Heroes for that same reason. But the writers of that show were really bad at keeping themselves from painting the story into corners. I'm sorry. There is literally no problem Peter Pitrelli (spl?) shouldn't have been able to deal with instantly with the combo of abilities he had…until they tried to fix

Well keep in mind that Bobbie wanted to tell Coulson and she seems to be struggling with that. Maybe when push comes to shove, she'll have Coulson's back.

Skye's story line is one of the things I find amazing about this show. Usually when you have the origin story of a hero, it goes from discovery of abilities to full blow hero in the span of a 1 minute montage. With Skye we get to see what it's like to suddenly have frightening new abilities and have to learn to cope

IKR? But at this point, the inhumans don't know they were just an experiment themselves.

Edward James Olmos as the "real" director of SHIELD will be great. But now Bobbie and Mac's mission looks even more implausible since they have been in Coulson's company long enough to know he was handed the keys by Fury himself. And they have to know he is doing a bang up job so far having saved the world "they
